Amazing experience. And Tristan with valet made our trip! Thank you!!! Highly recommend. Room was great. Shower was one of the best hotel showers I’ve had. The AC staff was awesome and the food and drinks were awesome. We will definitely be back. And Cotton with the front desk and all the other staff were THE BEST!!
The WORST stay I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Full of inconveniences at every single turn.
When I first arrived, it was near midnight. They told me they didn’t have the room I booked so they had to put me in a ADA room. Whatever - it’s a room. I agreed. When I finished unpacking and getting ready to sleep, I peeled back the sheets to find them stained. There was a stained towel as well and the toilet didn’t flush. I call the front desk and they offer to move me to another room, except they don’t have any more kings. Fine, I say, anything will do. The room is a double but an upgrade. It was annoying to move at 1 AM. I get to the room and I can’t even sleep, which was terrible considering I had to be up at 6 am. It was incredibly noisy due to the metro being right outside the window. You can hear everything and I was on the tenth floor.
Next day: I find the toilet is clogged (what is it with toilets not working in this hotel?) After a long day of work all I wanted was to sleep but I had to wait for engineering to come and fix the toilet.
Third day: I come back after another long day just wanting to relax to find a note on my door saying that they changed the key system of the hotel. So I couldn’t even get into my room (you need a keycard for the elevator but a hotel worker scanned me up. This ended up being more work than anything).
This hotel made a business trip an absolute misery.
Management did try and remediate the situation with drink vouchers, breakfast vouchers, and points to my account. This isn’t a complaint about management. I appreciate their efforts to try and make the situation better. This is a complaint about the state of this hotel.
Stay at a Hyatt. I have never had an issue with them. I only chose this place because it looked chic, luxurious, and clean. Boy was I wrong.
What a lovely and elegant hotel! The beds are comfortable, the pillows good, and our bathroom was extremely elegant also, with black and gray marble and a great layout. The downstairs area is also beautifully appointed. We spend a lot of time in hotels, so notice the differences. We'll be back.
Tristan is top-notch. I’ve been coming here for some time now and he’s always a top-notch professional. He’s the best valet in Houston downtown. Very personable. Very friendly and a great guy overall. You will not be disappointed by his services in this team.
Tristan with valet was respectful and very accommodating when we had questions regarding our overnight parking rate. He answered all my questions and made me feel like my car was in good hands. Overall, the hotel was nice, clean, and inviting. I would stay here again.
Part of Marriott hotels and right on a busy intersection. They only have valet parking. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The rooms were of decent size and the bed was comfortable. Amenities provided in the room were standard to any other hotels.
Tristan, our valet attendant, provided outstanding service during our stay. He was incredibly attentive, helped us with our bags, and truly went above and beyond to make our arrival smooth and welcoming. His friendly demeanor and professionalism made a wonderful first impression!
The front desk staff, Dawayla and Prathvi, were equally exceptional. Both were warm, efficient, and made us feel valued as guests. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs and made the check-in process seamless. This team’s commitment to customer service made our stay unforgettable, and we can’t thank them enough! Highly recommend this property.
Fantastic hotel. Clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful and incredibly nice.
Special shout out to Tristan and the valet team. He held great conversation, was quick to get the car, and helpful with directions and recommendations for food and drink.
