We have never had this type of check in experience with any hotels that we have stayed at and we are frequent travelers. The lobby desk had no employees and I was unable to reach anyone at any of the Marriott phone numbers. After waiting for an hour to check in, the bartender was able to get a hold of someone to help guide him on how to help us. I even called earlier in the day to inform them that we were going to be checking in around 9:00pm because of traffic and not once was I told that it would be too late or that no one would be at the desk to help us. I also checked in the morning of our arrival and my digital key would not work. I sent an email to the hotel general manager and I have yet to hear anything.
It's a nice property but has some issues that would prevent me from giving a higher score.  1) The fourth floor corner room was way too loud from street traffic.  2) Blackout curtains would not close at ends, allowing lots of light in.  3) Hotel lobby bar is way too small to accommodate guests.  4) Hotel lobby bar closes too early at 10pm and saw the bartender turn a guest away that had just checked in at 10:04pm... not cool.  5) Hotel gym is very basic.  6) Closet in room small and way too few hangers.   ||Those issues aside, housekeeping was good, bed quality was good, the facility was clean and felt secure, and it was well located.  I felt it was a bit overpriced.||
I had an extremely frustrating experience trying to cancel or reschedule my reservation at this hotel. I called multiple times, but each time I was put on hold for over an hour. After that, I attempted to call back more than 10 times, only to have my calls abruptly disconnected. Despite being a 4-star hotel, the customer service was nonexistent. I will never consider staying here again, and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who needs reliable assistance.
Love the hotel and the staff, great rooms and great location. Also the valet team is awesome, gets busy in the morning and the hustle like crazy to get your car quickly. Thank you Levi and Reece!
Great location right in downtown Fort Worth! The hotel is very nice and modern, with clean rooms. The staff is friendly and responsive. The only downside is parking - because the hotel is right in downtown, all the parking is pricey, including the hotel valet which is very expensive. If you're going to stay here, you're probably better off just using taxi/rideshare.
My sister had an event at the AC. The ballroom was nice, but the bartender lied and told the room attendant that someone brought in an outside beer. The prices at the cash bar were outrageous and I'm sure she didn't like the fact that not very many people was purchasing that expensive crap. Also the room attendant was walking in between people having conversations and was very rude. I felt like we were being monitored and in prison. It was very uncomfortable.
I will NEVER have or go to another event there again.
I have dealt with many hotels for planning events and I can truly say I have never seen anything like how these people treated us. Not only that, but we were approached by a man outside asking if we had drugs for sale. We looked nothing like we had drugs, and had our 2 small grandchildren with us.
I recently stayed here, and while the rooms were nice and clean, the valet experience was frustrating. I originally wanted to self-park, but I was informed that if I did, I’d be charged each time I entered or exited the parking structure. So, reluctantly, I opted for valet. They ask guests to text 10 minutes ahead with a claim number to prepare the car, but when I followed these instructions, my car still wasn’t ready upon arrival. Instead, the valet parker had to run to retrieve it from the structure, adding 20 minutes of inefficiency to an already busy morning.
For a hotel of this level, it’s disappointing to deal with such delays and limitations on self-parking. Guests with tight schedules should be aware of these issues. If you plan to tip the valet parker, make sure to have small bills ready, as the concierge was unable to access the cash drawer to provide change. With a better self-parking arrangement, I could have avoided this frustration.
Nice property. Clean updated rooms. As with almost every hotel post-covid, they are short on staff. Waited an hour for a simple maintenance item to be brought to my room. Called the front desk twice and no one answered. No management on the property at 8:00 PM.
