I missed the cut off date for a room a the Westin where my meeting was held. The AC was a great alternate, not as fancy but it was good. The staff was exceptional! Very close to the beach and a good price point. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. The bar has very knowledgeable bartenders.
We had a wonderful week at the AC. The hotel is modern and clean with great amenities. We used the pool, gym and bikes. Our room was clean and tidy. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Eldyce in the front desk was great with check in. She explained the Resort Fee and 25.00 credit very clearly. Loved her big smile. At check out she was very thorough in explaining the invoice details. Brittany, the front desk manager was also very informative and friendly. Our bartender Ahsley made a very good old fashioned. Really enjoyed our stay.
We stayed at AC hotel for a few night and Ruben provided us with excellent service at the beach. Beach chairs were included and Ruben, the beach attendant was very attentive to our needs. |The chairs were very comfortable and very clean and the location, just in front of the Ritz-Carlton is excellent. |We are very happy with the beach facilities that are part of the inclusions at the AC hotel and the courteous attendance of the beach staff. |Thanks Ruben. I spent the weekend here with my wife for her birthday and it was amazing. we booked a balcony room facing the beach and the sunrises were spectacular. the rooms have a very cozy, minimalistic feel to them, the beds are so comfortable, the bartenders at the lobby bar were great and the breakfast is worth waking up early for. The beach is a short walk from the property and they're walking distance from all the good local bars and restaurants. We will definitely be returning
Nice and close to the beach. I’ve stayed here twice now and the staff was so so friendly and helpful. Julian, the maintenance engineer, went above and beyond to help me fix something that he didn’t have to bother with! (Not hotel room related). I asked for a screwdriver, and he made sure my suitcase was fixed. I was bewildered. I cannot thank him enough. He was so kind and patient. Thank you for the great stays. I look forward to coming back.
Due to Hurricane Milton, we had to evacuate and stayed at the AC Hotel. I brought all of my fine jewelry and important documents with me, fearing potential flooding at our home, and stored everything in the hotel room safe. Unfortunately, I forgot to retrieve them when we left. On our way back home, I contacted the hotel, and the General Manager, Scott, along with his team, was incredibly helpful and understanding. Scott arranged for overnight FedEx delivery of my belongings, and I am deeply grateful for his and the staff’s professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness. Thank you so much! Our hotel stay was absolutely perfect as well!
Upon arrival, I was informed that I would need to pay an additional $25 per day to use services like the pool, gym, and other amenities. This charge was not made clear during the booking process, and I felt misled and overcharged.
It is absurd that while two beach chairs are provided, guests are required to pay $30 per day for an umbrella. This is another charge that left me feeling taken advantage of.
During my stay, I had to call a technician three times to adjust the temperature in my room because the in-room controls were not functioning properly. The reception staff insisted that the controls were working, but the maintenance technician informed me that the controls were malfunctioning throughout the hotel. This contradictory information was frustrating and made me feel like the reception staff were not being honest with me.
At check-out, I had to review my bill multiple times because the $25 per day I was charged at the start of my stay—supposedly available as credit for poolside bar purchases—was not deducted from my final bill.
Lastly, the staff at reception and valet were not friendly or accommodating, which further worsened my experience.
After this disappointing experience, I will not be returning to your hotel. I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve the experience for future guests.
My girlfriend puppy and I recently stayed at the AC Marriott in Fort Lauderdale and had a mixed experience. As a Gold Elite status member, I was initially disappointed that I did not receive a complimentary room upgrade upon check-in. Although at first there was a dispute about if the gold elite status receives complementary upgrades or not, the Assistant General Manager, Albert, went above and beyond to remedy the situation, ensuring that I received the upgrade for the last two nights of my stay, which I greatly appreciated.
The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and friendly, especially with our dog, making us feel truly welcome. The property itself is clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and accommodating environment. Another highlight was Robert the bartender who made his own fresh syrups to make our cocktails as delicious as possible. He was friendly and very engaging. He even introduced us to Julian. He had maintenance man with an incredible voice.
We stayed in a room with an ocean view, and it was fantastic. The balcony views were especially great, providing a serene and picturesque setting that enhanced our overall experience.
One downside was the valet parking, which was quite expensive, even for guests. While the service was very nice, the cost seemed a bit steep.
Unfortunately, during our stay, the fire alarm testing was going off during peak work hours. While we understand the necessity of such tests, it did become a bit of a problem, especially when trying to focus on work.
Overall, despite a few hiccups, our stay was enjoyable thanks to the beautiful views, friendly staff, and Robert & Albert's excellent customer service.
