New, super clean and comfortable place to stay after long day flying. The place smells like heaven when you walk in. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will stay here again. We got in late and were greeted so warmly by the front desk lad which is a strong contrast to the place we stayed last year. We left early to board a ship so have no experience with food and shopping. Hope next year the flight is earlier because there’s a ton of shopping and restaurants just steps from the hotel.
My stay was lovely, however when I got home and saw my credit card bill, I was charged for parking when I arrived my hotel shuttle. I have called the property three times and over the past month asking for a refund and it has not been issued. I have incurred over $16 in international long distance charges as the toll free head office number is unable to resolve the issue and must be dealt with at the property level.
A perfect experience on my part. Service at the front desk was top notch. Location is excellent for both downtown and the airport. Breakfast was decent too. More importantly though, the room was clean, modern, and the AC worked perfectly. Would recommend
Travel here a lot for work and usually stay at the AC Sawgrass Mills or I stay at the Marriott that’s horseshoed to this AC Hotel. Really a growing area. The development around the hotel is excellent, safe, and has tons of options. The only downside is all the water that pours out of the showers (a common AC Hotel issue across the board) as well as the outrageous airport level gouged pricing on hotel quick snacks. Love this place looking forward to returning.
I am so underwhelmed. The hotel was nice and clean. The service for breakfast was terrible. First i went to the buffet at marriott. There was no buffet. It was their "slow time". The egs were rubbery. I asked 3 times to have my English muffin toasted. After the 3rd time i just left. I went to the AC side to eat. They didn't tell me that there was a charge for breakfast. You have 2 options. I chose option 1. Scrambled eggs on toast. The eggs were terrible. Usually marriott is on point. Not this time. I spent about $40 on 2 breakfast plates that were inedible. Shame on you marriott.
I wanna give a 5 star review to MC & front desk Kelly! I was here for a model competition in Florida and this hotel really accommodated my stay. Ask a notice to Dhary in training! What a fun job and excellent hospitality. I really enjoyed the gym, the view and the location. Very convenient and in the middle of a lot of places.
The location is great! However, there are other hotels in the same area who offer better experiences.
We stayed at the AC pre and post cruise. Essentially, two different stays with different issues. The first issue. I left a sweater in the hotel room and realized while in the car on the way to the port. I made sure I didn't have it packed in my luggage once on the cruise. Called the hotel and this is where it went down hill. Essentially, I was told that they have limited staff on the weekends and that I would need to call back. I called back and was told that a sweater was not found. Now the room is open concept, so that means either the room was not cleaned or one of the staff took it. For someone to take something of so little value makes me wonder what else they are taking when they come in to clean the room. Everything can not fit in a safe nor should it have to be locked away. I book small group trips regularly all around the world and people leave things, it just happens. In the Diania beach area, we have had someone foreget something at Hyatt Place and Hilton at the Marina, and both graciously returned the forgotten property. So it is possible to have hotel staff without sticky fingers.
The hotel is fairly new and has pretty but unpractical furnishings and construction. The top floor floor was SUPER loud anytime the air came on. I'm going to guess that he condenser was right above on the roof. The room was dirty, there was some type of make shift overflow system under the sink, stains on pillow cases, as well as a dual hand held shower and rainfall shower head that had to be used together. No matter how you tried to adjust the rainfall shower head it continuously ran when trying to only use the handheld showerhead. Also, there are hardwood floors and you can hear everything above you, but that was only when staying on the 8th floor. And for some reason there are types of clocks in the room and large enough gaps under the door for the lizards and every sound to easily get through. For $150 to $185 a night this is embarrassing. Save yourself the hassle, bad experience and money and stay at the Hyatt or Hilton at the Marina.
I was so happy at first. The hotel is new, clean, nice, with friendly staff. It was also a really good bargain especially considering the quality.|| But it’s 2:30 am and my neighbor is playing a video game and I can hear every single sound as if they were in my room because of the door that connects our rooms (which is closed). ||For a new hotel, I’m really surprised that they didn’t invest in a little bit better noise isolation. Obviously ymmv and it’s just going to depend on the neighbors that you get. ||I otherwise wouldn’t hesitate to stay again but I can’t risk being woken up and kept up
