I’ve stayed at this hotel 4 times now. The hotel staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and reasonably priced. The bartenders know how to make sure you are having a good time. The lobby has a little nightlife all its own, perfect for team meetings or just a place to stay while in town with friends. Definitely recommend.
The lobby is spacious and wonderful for work! You can set meetings there or park yourself comfortably for work all day long. The gym is also spacious with various stationary bikes, such as Peloton. Also has stair masters. Ample space to do floor stretching and exercises, which is rare for most hotels. The pool is delightful!
The rooms are ultra clean and comfortable. The only annoying thing is that you can hear very vividly of people rushing or running on the floor above. Especially when there are children running around. The mattress is a bit slanted on one side. Perhaps been used plenty of times. Need to change it. I would also suggest for an optional electric tea pot if people need it, room slippers, and a speaker.
I recently stayed in room 213 on business. I normally stay at another hotel in Dallas but it was full. Front desk staff was welcoming. Delaney the bartender was fantastic. Room was clean and bed/pillows were comfortable. I gave the location 3 stars because it wasn't convenient to my office.
My only word of warning is for right hand ladies out there. The outlets in the bathroom are in the far left wall. The mirror lines up on the far right wall. Unless your curling iron/straightener has a really long cord, you might have trouble styling your hair. There's only the mirror in the bathroom and one on the door and there's no outlet near the door. If I stayed for more than one night, I would have asked the front desk for an extension cord. The hairdryer works great. Really powerful.
Hotel is solid but the real star is Mrs. Becky the breakfast attendant on the Hotel property. She might be the sweetest lady I’ve ever met. Makes each morning better, greeting everyone with a smile and a warm heart, even taking time from her busy day to stop and talk to me and ask how I’m doing. It doesn’t seem like much but it meant a a lot. I’ll stay here again and again just to make sure I see her before I start my day when I’m in Dallas.
Horrible! Horrible service and management needs to be reevaluated! Purchased multiple rooms for a conference, and had problems with one of the rooms. Reported this multiple times, no resolution! Called to speak with management (Kelly/Shannon), no returned phone calls! Ac, tv, nor shower was working properly. They sent a security guard to come check it out, they had no maintenance staff on the property! Worse place to stay! Will be contacting corporate and letting them know about this location!
This was perfect for what we needed for the weekend! When we were on our way, it was so easy to get too! As we arrived we were greeted by Jasmine G at the front desk and she was AMAZING! She was so friendly and helpful. She was able to give us amazing and delicious recommendations for the Dallas area. The location was also amazing! They were within walking distance of the Galleria Mall, target, and a fair. The driving distance to great places was also super quick! We loved our time and will be back!
Hotel is clean. It is located in the same building with Residences Inn - same staff, same elevator, same space, different rooms.
The AC hotel, no rug or carpet in rooms. Which makes it easy to get disturbed by guests footsteps in their room. Toilet flushing can easily be heard too.
No free breakfast if you are a guest of AC hotel.
I always love Marriott hotels, they always tend to be well kept/clean and they treat you well. Well, this AC had a very nice person at the check in desk. But a couple of things at the room level ruined this experience. The room looked clean at first. But about five minutes after I put my bags down, a little roach came out to say hello! I didn't make a big deal about it bc the room looked clean - you could even see under the beds and it wasn't gross. So maybe the bug came from the outdoors. But then I took a short shower. And when I got out, I noticed water outside of the bathroom in the hallway. It didn't come from under the bathroom door but rather it came from the wall next to the bathroom - as if they had a leaky pipe. I noticed the floor board by the leak has several water stains so clearly this has happened before, and it's never been fixed. Definitely not a typical Marriott. Maybe try the Residence Inn attached to the same building. The R.I. also has complimentary breakfast. I also noticed they did not offer upgraded wifi to bonvoy members which was unusual.
