Best WLM Reviews
Great hotel, very modern and accommodating. I’ve interacted with multiple staff through my stay and all were very sincerely appeased to help a guest’ the gym, very clean and up to date! The powder rooms, the same! The concessions area, well stocked and maintained for any late night beverages or snacks. The bartender, very nice and helped a couple of tourists with restaurant ideas. While checking out, MiMI inquired about our stay, wishes us well to top off a great experience.
The staff at this hotel are so friendly and welcoming. We were greeted each time we came in or left which was so nice! Anytime we had a question the ladies at the desk, security, or the valet guys were super helpful and so sweet. Loved all of the staff here.
The hotel lobby is beautiful and well kept. Cute areas outside to hang out as well. The rooms are fairly small, though, but manageable for a short weekend stay. We stayed for Dragon Con. Overall it was a good experience, quick elevators, friendly and accommodating staff, etc. The price was a bit high which is to be expected for Con weekend. But it could have been better in terms of amenities as the other hotels had far more to offer. I did like that they require hotel key access to get through the sliding doors.
If I could recommend anything to the management it would be to add a microwave in the rooms. On our last day we found out there is one for guests in the lobby back by the bathrooms. I wish we had known as we could have brought different food for our meals.
I travel a lot and I have never had such a nice experience at a hotel as I did at the AC. When we arrived, the valet was super nice. Walked into the lobby and was warmly greeted by Mimi at the front desk. Lots of personal service. The bartender, I believe her name was Dominique, ran out to her car to grab a phone charger for me to use. I spent 4 days there and was so pleased with the service. Rooms are nice as well.
We stayed here with our two toddlers and were not sure how it would go because it’s a really nice hotel but the staff was incredible and made us feel so comfortable and welcome.
They gave our kids little snack bags and entertained them with bubbles while we packed the car back up before we left. Tracy was awesome and called us by name each time we entered the lobby.
Would highly recommend this hotel!!
Let me preface this by saying that I have never felt compelled to leave a review, but the extremely poor treatment that I received warrants me to warn others before they stay at this hotel. During my stay at this hotel, I had no working bathroom and the water was leaking from the sink. Mimi is the representative that I spoke with at the front desk. She was very rude, unprofessional, and lacked basic customer service skills. I waited for over two hours to have the bathroom repaired, and once the technician came up, Mimi immediately called him down to leave the room. He never returned. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. If you want a comfortable and clean stay, avoid this place. If I could give them less than one star I would. Please spend your money elsewhere.
Location was perfect if you’re seeing a show at the State Farm Arena. Valet is very efficient and super nice.
These rooms have really poor lighting. They are painted and furnished very dark and there are only a few lamps.
Shower was designed for a man. I don’t wash my hair everyday and do not need water raining down from the ceiling in the shower.
Could barely reach the coffee maker because the shelf it’s on is too high, and it was too dark to see anything, had to move it to the bathroom. No closet.
Perhaps the worst experience tho, and because of it I will never stay here again: we went to a concert at State Farm Arena. I chose this hotel because of its proximity and the late checkout time (12 pm) because I knew we’d be out late. At 9:15 am there’s a tapping at the door. I open it to a woman with a pen and clipboard telling me it’s time to check out. I was visibly confused and said checkout is at 12 pm. Her response? “Oooooh. Yes that true. So you’re staying till 12?” I immediately shut the door. Seriously??? I’m not cattle and you do not need to herd me out of a room I paid for hours before checkout time because you want to flip the room.
Never again.
Mimi, was working the front desk when we arrived, she was PHENOMINAL! Great personality! She greated my husband, children, & I with kindness! It’s so important to start your hotel traveling experience with someone who makes you feel welcomed! There were a couple other staff members that went the extra to see if we needed anything, including the security officer, and a lady named, Lisa! The hotel was nice, GREAT location, it was clean, the amenities included a work out room, a couple outdoor lounging areas & a pool that were all comfortable & decorated with class! We will defiantly book here again for any future travel plans!
This was my first time staying at an Overflow hotel for Dragon Con in the last 8 years and I would go back to the AC without a second thought. The front desk staff on every shift was FABULOUS (please give them raises). The room had enough space for three cosplayers and all of their stuff.||The pool was clean and not over chlorinated. The beds were comfy. The bathroom has no bathtub but the shower does have 2 showerheads, good pressure and we were never without hot water. The room fridge was the best hotel fridge I've used in 40 years of travel. ||The street down from the Westin is extremely well lit and I never felt unsafe walking down to the hotel. (But I am from the NYC metro area.)
