Best WLM Reviews
I really enjoyed the food, the service, and the atmosphere of this restaurant. It had been 9 years since I had Ethiopian cuisine, before I visited this restaurant and it did not disappoint me. The service was great. I had the vegetarian plate and had the sambusas as appetizers. All of these were delicious. I had the fresh (it was very fresh) mango juice and that was very delicious.
I ordered the veggie combo. The portion size was good and could easily feed 2-3 people. The food was definitely not fresh and the stir-fry veggies came straight out the fridge.
If you’re a business playing music from YouTube, do your customers a favor and pay for premium. It’s a small expense to ensure I don’t have to listen to endless ad’s while you’re outside chatting it up with your friends.
I am surprised by all the positive reviews this restaurant has. I’m going to assume that their meat-dishes are much better than the veggie ones.
I would also suggest you compare the price from the menu to the price you are actually charged.
This is my number one spot for Ethiopian food in the valley! It’s become my go to for date nights and girls night. The food is all so good and the service is lovely. You’re greeted like family when you walk in. The atmosphere is dim and full of inviting scents. Definitely try the ceremony coffee while you’re there!!
Recently the owner of this delicious restaurant catered a special gathering honoring the passing of a dear friend. Her presence was loving and kind and her food was so nourishing and delicious, made with so much love. I only wished I lived in Phoenix to enjoy her cooking more often. Thank you for this authentically exquisite Ethiopian meal! Love, Hope
Amazing food. Amazing people. Amazing Ethiopian coffee. What else is there?? This place is heaven on earth!
This was a great experience. It was my first time eating Ethiopian food. I was impressed! The fish gallahs were spicy, very enjoyable, and easy on the palate. It was very hearty, with a gravy base, along with vegetables and chucks of fish. I also have the mango juice... which is worth going back for. The appetizer, fried wedge stuffed with lentils, had a kick, but I enjoyed it.
The restaurant is quaint but ideal for date night. There's a small bar, so there is alcohol to calm the nerves, is needed.
There is accessible parking and entrance.
Amazing food! I’ve been coming here for years and have never once been disappointed. The restaurant has everything from Vegetarian dishes to Meat dishes that all offer a variety of unique and extremely flavorful meals that are sure to leave you more than satisfied!
This place was amazing!!! Just went here, and the service was immediate, and friendly. The ambience was spectacular, and was filled with Ethiopian decor that was gorgeous to look at. Now the food, THE FOOD was nutritious, hardy and you can tell they put all their elbow grease and love into it. It was sensational.
