Expensive!
And not that good.
I got the empanadas for a snack.
There were two empanadas in an order, cut in half, and they were tiny and $12.99.
I ate two of the halves before taking the photo, but even with all four pieces, that wasn't worth $14 after tax.
And as a former restaurant server, I still tip on to-go orders, so $16, total for this?
Never again.
Nice people, tho
Food was great. Tacos were great, tortillas were good. The only thing that surprised me is that in 2024 they have no phone tapping as a payment option. I never have my cards with me due to potentially being stolen. I was asked to write down my credit card number on and that they were going to enter it in the system. I did not feel safe doing that so I asked to enter the information myself. They should consider updating their paying system. Most people are doing that nowadays. Swiping a card is old technology.
I love this Mexican eatery... great bar with excellent cocktails ???? and margaritas ???? ???? ... Food is always delicious ????
Family owened, and these folks are super friendly, and their staff members are awesome folks.
Give them a try if you've never been yet... I feel you will make this your regular hangout for good cheer and great food!
I needed a snack for the drive home, and fish tacos sounded good. The server was great. My food came out quickly, but maybe they should have spent more time seasoning the fish. To be a very small piece of fish, it should have packed a punch of flavor, but no, it was dry and bland.
Every American mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to has NEVER charged me for freshly diced jalapeños.
I get it, food prices have gone up, but $2.50 for a side is silly. Charging $3 or $4 extra for a spicy margarita is also silly.
The queso needed to be warmed up as soon as it was brought out.
Our meal was the standard chips, Chile Colorado, Enchiladas Mexico, and Tortilla Soup.
The chips are thin and made onsite. Most excellent, as was the salsa. The soup was created with a rich stock and very tasty. We both enjoyed our main courses, and are excited to return when back in the area.
We stopped by during lunch and though a little busy, service was prompt, yet not intrusively attentive. Returning from a recent visit to Oaxaca, we were surprised that the owner is from there.
A Mexican restaurant for consideration.
Elite neighborhood restaurant
My wife and I love this place. Incredibly consistent friendly service, great drinks & food. An owner who cares. Love it!
Patio is dog friendly!
Mucho gusto! Service was great. Chips hot. Guacamole made fresh. Skinny lime margaritas with Grand Marnier topper. Steak fajitas were tasty. The chorizo could have been a bit more flavorful but good.
