Consistently good food in a nice (but sometimes quite cold) atmosphere. Service is always good and the kitchen does a great job with everything.
Try the new green chili chimichanga. Not bad, but I wished it was Hatch chili and a little more spicy than it is, and a burrito not a chimi, but as-is you'll have a very tasty lunch.
Great food, really good drinks, but the server I don't think she likes us. We were the only table in the restaurant at the time, she barely came by.
Excellent place. Large indoor seating, very well decorated, food was excellent with big portions, and service was quick and friendly.
Went there for dinner, party of 4, and had a great time. Table always had plenty of chips the entire time with three different salsas, one regular, one verde with a hint of citrus, and one smokey spicy. Had the queso diablo for an appetizer which went in seconds, very good. Meals were the steak quesadilla al horno and chicken tacos. The steak quesadilla was one of the cheesiest greatest things I have had, full flat tortillas filled with excellently seasoned and tender steak, baked with cheese on top, topped with scallions. Tacos were good to as they had a very nice fresh and crisp taste to them.
Good drink selection too. Sangria was good along with the sangria swirl margarita. The sangria swirl was so frozen and stayed so cold, the glass stayed frosted for almost the entire dinner.
I would say it was overall a really good experience! What I appreciated the most. I ordered a drink which was like they're sparkling mango Margarita or something like that. When I got the drink it did not look in the slightest bit like the picture. I did not think it was good at all. I returned it and got their jalapeno Margarita. Not only was it insanely good but they made it strong. I would even say probably stronger than they're supposed to be. Hence that was the little extra effort of them saying hey, he didn't like his last one. We're going to make sure he loves that and again to me. Any place that's willing to put forth that extra effort is showing that they appreciate your money. They appreciate you as a customer and they want you to enjoy the experience and as a consumer that's all I care about. So I'm giving him five stars across the board. Don't be afraid to speak up and let him know if you don't like something you got because they will do their best to make up for it. What else can you ask for? You know what I mean?
We have been here maybe 5-7 times by now and one of those times we had take out. It's honestly hit or miss if you receive good service as sometimes we will arrive to a clean table and very prompt staff and other times you'll have a dirty table and you're looking around for the waiter for a good 10-15 minutes before one shows up. I noticed the waiters are more attentive during busier hours and very scarce when there isn't many customers. This last visit we came on a Saturday around 4:30pm and there were maybe 5 tables in total. Many of the staff were standing around chatting, the table we were sat at was dirty, and our waiter didn't show up for the first time until 13 minutes after we sat down.
The food here really is meh. Not much flavor to any dish and we have tried many of them. To name a few we've tried the nacho grande, enchilada platter, Puebla azteca, chimichanga, and bean and cheese burrito. The chips are also a hit or miss. Sometimes we get fresh warm ones and other times we get cold stale ones. The service here is inconsistent but the so-so food quality does stay the same.
Now what keeps bringing us back is their Queso Diablo. That is an amazing dish each and everytime. We now order it to put it on top of our main dishes to make the meal taste good. I'm not kidding when I say I could eat a whole bath tub of that dip. If the restaurant would like to share the recipe I would be eternally greatful. So over all it's not bad but it's not a place I would be recommending to friends or family (unless it's for that dip!)
Little bland of spices (hot sauce not hot either) but for the price it was pretty good and it took 20min to get here on doordash so probably much better in person. Still was tasty. 100% a restaurant for old yt people would love it. Kinda less authentic more catered to less cultural folk very basic menu.
I remember visiting this place throughout my childhood at locations in Lubbock and here in Chandler. Haven't been in ages! The food was amazing and we had great service. Best tex Mex around! I miss the water falls or fountians though. It really added to the atmosphere when I was younger but must be difficult to upkeep overtime. I will be back!
Food was great! Stopped by for dinner and ordered the Enchilada Platter! It's definitely for 2.
Our server Joey was awesome. He was very friendly and checked on us often making it an even greater experience!
The atmosphere was great as well. Would definitely recommend!
