???? Incredible Experience!
The chips and salsa? Perfectly fresh and flavorful. The Bacon Wrapped Shrimp appetizer? Unreal—so good we were craving more after the last bite!
Our main dishes? Just look at the pictures—they say it all. Every bite was bursting with flavor. Can’t wait to come back!
My family and I enjoyed this place so much! From the wonderful food to the wonderful service, it’s definitely a place to come back to. The restaurant feels like you’re in another country, which I love. The food is also good and affordable, and the portions are large in size. We all loved our food.
I've been dining at this Abuelos since 2005. I have never had a bad experience and the food is good every time. We had the chicken enchiladas, empanadas, and one of their large multi item plates. All was very delicious. I've had large and small family dinners and my sisters graduation party dinner at this location in the past.
Waiters are polite. Places is clean and nice. Food is not worth the price. $20 for an enchilada plate topped with canned carne con chile! Keep in mind. I asked if it was made in house waiter said yes. That’s a lie! Beans dry! Everything topped off with a bunch of cheese! Reminds me of Panchos food! Just here you don’t have a flag to raise for more.
Great food. We we're sat in the bar area for some reason. Bartender was ok but never brought us chips. Not busy at all to be forgetting something so simple.
It was a nice place. The food and service were good. We went for a celebration and got the fajitas for two. I don't really eat shrimp, but it was amazing. The mango drink was good as well. I wasn't a big fan of the rice or beans. The chips and salsa were good as well.
My choice for my birthday meal. Large place with authentic Mexican decor. Very large menu book. My meal = Combo plate: enchiladas, tamales, hard-shell tacos, refried beans & fried rice. Free chips and salsa. Great Margaritas ????!
TAP TO PAY NOT AVAILABLE!!! I changed my previous 5 star rating to 1 STAR with my recent experience in October 2024! First, Kelly is an amazing server!! Very attentive and accommodating! I came to lunch with my Mom and we had a really nice meal. The food came out quick and everything tasted great! Everything was great … until I got ready to pay. I told them I want to pay with Tap with Apple Pay, and they said they don’t do this. What????? What place in this day and age doesn’t have Tap to Pay???? I was in Thailand last week and I was able to use tap there! But this is not available at Abuelo’s???? Issue was that I did not have a physical credit card with me, so I had to ask my Mom to pay for our lunch ???? Frances Gutierrez, the store assistant manager explained to me that there are other places that don’t accept, like Walmart, to which I quickly corrected her by informing her that although Walmart does not have Tap, but they have their own App which you can connect your credit card and pay by phone! Frances, don’t insult my intelligence by comparing Abuelo’s to Walmart!!! Does Abuelo’s have their own App??? Miles Leal (General Manager) & Carlos Cruz (Assistant General Manager) … get with the times and get Tap to Pay working!!
