Hands down the best Mexican food that my husband and I have eaten in a very long time! The shrimp was unlike any I've ever had before. The flavor was AMAZING. If you are in the area and you don't stop in you're making a grave error. You're not gonna find food like this just anywhere. ????
Beautiful place. Good selection of food. I got the fajita tacos but wish I would have went with the fajitas. Beer was nice and cold.
Most excellent dinner. I enjoyed 3 different types of salsa while my food was being prepared. I ordered the combination fajitas with steak and chicken. The seasoning was phenomenal and all of the meat was cooked to perfection. The onions, peppers, and squash really added to the flavor. I've never experienced the squash in a fajita dish. You can definitely taste the difference in the food being prepared to order. The bartender's name was Michael. He was very attentive and had an excellent attitude. I had the El Jefe margarita. One was all I needed. I would definitely recommend more than 5 stars if Google would allow it.
Fantastic Mexican food!! We tried three other restaurants that had 30+ minute wait times before landing here. This place is HUGE and has lots of room! The service was excellent but the food was dynamite!!! I highly recommend the CHICKEN TAMPIQUENA!!! My daughter ordered the TAMALES and my sister order the CHICKEN FAJITAS. Everything was EXCELLENT!!! We will definitely be back soon. Thank you!!
This restaurant has been a staple in brick town for many years. Sadly, I guess it has fallen out of favor. So many new restaurants in town. Abuelos is as good today as when it opened. Exceptional dining atmosphere, and very attentive wait staff. Best part is no wait and no crouds.
Abuelo’s was a pleasant surprise. The food was very good. I ordered a big combination platter because I wanted to sample things that they do there. Everything was excellent. My server was really good. Lots of fun enjoyed her very much. I was a little freaked out with a robot started coming at me with my food, but my server was right there behind it. She got a big kick out of my reaction to the robot delivering the food. Of course she had to put it on the table and do the presentation. She said the kids love the robot, bringing the food to the table. I imagine they would the Decour and ambience in the restaurant is quite nice. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
Not a fan. I'm from central Arkansas and this is nothing like our Mexican food.
I've only been here a couple times and had a great experience both times! I was greeted by a friendly face as soon as I walked in and was seated immediately. Our server was wonderful; very attentive but not overly done that it felt intrusive to our family dinner. The kiddos loved the atmosphere in the "courtyard" and enjoyed our seats by the huge fountain in the middle of the dining room. The food was delicious and the drinks were made well. Will definitely be back!
