This place is one of my favorite places to go. Service is always wonderful, the food amazing, to say the least, and the drinks well let me put it this way their bartender knows what he/she is doing. You get your monies worth it is strong and still tastes amazing. When I visit Tyler this is my must go to places.
Tyler is known for roses, hospitals, and Mexican food restaurants every two blocks. Abuelo's nails the flavor in every appetizer and entre. Today I had some excellent beef fajita tacos with black beans and white rice. The dish was a perfect lunch portion. The atmosphere is a little dull, but at least it's not filled with turquoise and hot pink streamers. Overall, it's a nice spot.
Our family which was a party of 8 decided to eat at this amazing restaurant. Our waitress Sydney was very attentive and on point. Our appetizers, drinks, and food were all excellent to the taste. No complaints at all nothing but good vibes and we enjoyed ourselves.
First time here, and it did not disappoint. Walked in, and the place was clean and nice looking. Greeted and seated quickly, our waiter was at our table right away. I wish I could remember his name. But he was excellent, gave us excellent recommendations. Told us about each salsa they serve, and BTW, the green salsa with pineapple was delicious. He showed us the meal they are known for (Pechuga con Calabaza) . Let me just say wow. It was truly so good. My husband opted for the 12 oz ribeye and beef enchiladas. It's probably one of the best steaks we had in a while. It's better than our go-to steak houses. Let's just say we will be back.
I had the lunch order of Chicken Tampiqena. The waiter informed me that it is dark meat chicken and I made the best decision to proceed. The waiter recognized that we were teachers and made sure to give us a free queso. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The waiter kept our drinks topped off nicely.
Came here with a friend and it was really good. The food was definitely hot when it came out.....overall great place and food. The waiter was really sweet too. The tres leches cake is the only picture I took. It was yummy ????
Really enjoyed the food here! Excellent flavor. Didn’t expect the portion sizes to be so big for the price. Service was also very good.
Went here for first time tonight. Husband had enchilada plate with rice and refried beans. I had steak fajita taco plate with rice and pintos. The food was just ok. I wasnta fan of the rice. Sort of had a leftover texture, not freshly cooked. Yhe tortillas for the fajita tacos was a bit dry and tough. Not soft and fluffy. Our first bowl of chips were fresh. The second bowl was stale and we ask for another bowl. They came out stale as well. The salsa wasn't good for my taste. Sort of tasted like chunky tomato sauce.
Our waiter was very attentive to our needs. We didn't complain about the meal. Bc it was eatable. But just wasn't very favorable.
We will not be going back here.
