Great Palestinian restaurant in Paterson NJ.
When you enter the establishment it looks small. But Then as you go in, you find out it is so huge.
Service is fast. We had hummus, picked salad, Arabic bread, a half grilled chicken and a Mixed kebab platter which was huge. We had to take a doggy bag.
Excellent food.
All dishes taste, presentation and freshness 10/10. I ate kubbe in different restaurants, but this one exceeded my expectations. Crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The soup of the day was excellent with a light peppercorn and moderate spices, excellent taste. Chicken and beef shashlik were ideal. After such a visit, I want to come back as soon as possible again. There are reasonable prices and there are always a lot of people and takeaway orders, judging by when we sat and saw it with our own eyes, so perhaps the waiter did not always have time
There is quite literally nothing not to like about this fantastic restaurant serving homestyle Lebanese cuisine. We were a group of six dining here for lunch and everything from the food to the service was absolute perfection. The bread was served hot and fresh, the hummus and babaganoush tasted like home, and the large mixed kebab platter was delicious. All of the meat was fresh and juicy, nothing was overcooked or dry. Our waiter Ismael was very patient and kind with my elderly mother who has some food restrictions and even brought her an extra plate of pickled veggies which I greatly appreciated.
Abu Rass was a very pleasant experience. The manager and the waiters were very kind and the small mixed platter was actually quite a nice portion, more than enough for the three of us! The freekeh was excellent. I had never tried this before and it was one of my favorite sides. Great, family-oriented atmosphere and music. Beautiful place and beautiful culture. My family and I will definitely be returning ????????????

Their menu is meat and chicken chops and beef too. The chicken was a bit dry but otherwise great
The best part is they offer free bread and garlic dip which is so nice and yummy and soft
We came for a lunch and it was about 20 of us! This restaurant was very accommodating! Most restaurants would make you wait until all guests arrive. Those of us who arrived early ordered the maramiah tea while we waited. Once all our people arrived, we ordered three of the vegetable platters and three of the mixed family platters! Everything was amazing and there was so much food we each took a container to carry out. The lemon mint drink brings back so many memories of Palestine. I usually make it at home because most restaurants make it with ice cubes. This place made it home it's supposed to be!! The prices were very reasonable and we received more food than we expected. The waiters were very kind and sweet. They were organized and professional. I can't wait to come back again. Also, not related but we ran into some children on the street who were selling kuffieh blankets!!! I regret not buying more! Go out there and support! The entire community is very hospitable.

I have traveled all around the world looking for a place like this. From the host to the server to the bus boy. This restaurant has hosted me and my family spectacularly and so welcoming. Our experience was personalized by all the staff. They love to feed the clients tummy as well as their hearts. My and my family will be back every week to enjoy the company of Abu Russ! Stay blessed
