Best WLM Reviews
Ordered shawarma wrap ( beef ) and another one chicken. The food is always spot on and consistent. The price is little on higher side but definitely worth it. They have a very nice seating area and a chill environment.
Definitely recommend, one of my favorite places to eat when I am in the dfw area
The menu is no frills. They don't have Arabic Salad or tabouli. I got the beef shawarma because I didn't want garlic sauce. It comes with tahini and pickles. The taste was ok. The meat wasn't old but it didn't taste super fresh. The flavor was good and the crispiness of the wrap. I was hungry so I devoured it. The hummus is a disappointment. I would never order it from here again. The portion size is decent but it just ..... isn't phenomenal. The kibbeh didn't look great. You can tell that it wasn't made the day I ordered it. There were some texture issues on the outside. But the taste of it was good. I enjoyed the kibbeh and would order it again. I waited.... 18 minutes for my food. I was starved. There was one family ahead of me. The wait time ...... makes me rethink coming here.
The good thing was the shawarma was not greasy and had good flavor. The kibbeh had good flavor.
The dining room was clean. The bathroom.... Was not. There is only one room for the bathroom so there is no separate ladies room and the urinal is right next to the toilet and it just felt weird. I really felt like I shouldn't have been using the bathroom in there. I'm 8 months pregnant so it was something I couldn't avoid ....
As much as I want to support our local businesses, these things make it hard to write a good review. I don't know if anyone had checked the bathroom the entire night.
I don't think I would go back again unless everything was closed since they're open late.
I had their shawarma at Eid Festival and was hooked. I finally visit their richardson branch and the food was awesome. Shawarma as usual was great and Zinger chicken was crunchy and tasty. It's halal and tasty. A warm and friendly ambience and staff was extremely respectful and welcoming. It's an hour away from us but I would definitely go again. I wish they had a branch in Frisco.
Abu Omar Halal Restaurant offers shawarma from Karama Al Awal! I tried the shawarma for the public, it was one of the most delicious shawarma I've ever eaten. Soft and baked in a new way, and the meat (or chicken) was seasoned in a wonderful way and cooked to the market.
The sauces were distinctive and complemented the taste perfectly, especially in Omrania. Because they were generous and the price was very reasonable compared to the quality.
The service was good, the staff were friendly, fast and the place was clean and tidy. If you are a shawarma lover, you must visit Abu Omar Halal Restaurant.
Amazing always. I was living in arlington before and that location was always great. I moved to the dallas side and found they had a branch in Richardson. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The people at this location are so kind and will go out of their way to help you. I've been back 3 times now since moving to this area a few months ago. 100% will be back!
Phenomenal service from Jaber. Absolutely love the fresh atmosphere and the food and flavor is undoubtedly unmatched. Their sauce will certainly change your perspective on life, but the wholesome and welcoming experience they curate brings it all together. Unquestionably one of my favorites for both Dallas and Houston.
It's alright.
The only item I liked from here was the lamb gyro bowl. It felt fresh and honestly was delicious.
The lamb gyro wrap is just lamb meat on a flour tortilla. I felt ripped off with this item.
The hummus was acidic and greasy. Couldn't even eat it. Just no.
If you're looking for authenticity, not the right place, Jasmine's café offers better quality, and even then jasmine it's alright nothing too crazy either.
I stopped by to try their lamb plate with rice it was delicious and my service was excellent food was ready within 15 minutes
