Really was craving Mediterranean food, ordered through uber eats and was thoroughly disappointed by the food. I understand it’s not going to be the best after a delivery, but i ordered a salad bowl that was pictured much different than the end product. Picture was a smaller bowl, with a good ratio of protein, chickpeas, tomatos, onions, etc. (and most importantly, dressing on the side). What I got was mostly shredded bag lettuce, some grey meat, and GOBS of sauce/dressing. Basically inedible. 1 star because I had to give them something to write this review and warn you from making a terrible choice for your next meal.
It is the best Halal food around. We stopped in after an appointment in OKC I wish they had one in Tulsa. The food was exceptional and the service was patient polite and helpful (everything you want in the service business). Portions were large and definitely enough. The taste of the food is very authentic and delicious so if you get the chance whether your passing through or located in OKLAHOMA CITY definitely check him out. You won't be disappointed he has tables and chairs outside to enjoy the atmosphere also so you don't have to run off or you can take it to go.
pleasantly surprised! last minute dinner decision as they've had bogo items on uber eats & we'd been putting off trying it. got two rice bowls with chicken & they were amazing - picture was taken a minute after we tore into it but they were very pretty when we opened them. garlic sauce is amazing and all the vegetables were fresh & flavorful. large portions as well, i took a break to write this review and i still have half a bowl! would love to try to grape leaves & lamb sometime
Lamb Kebab burger with french fries... the garlic sauce was great... this is the best Doener Kebab I have had in a long time... presentation of food was good (wrapper and nice orange box for french fries), service was friendly and seating was outsideq (no complaints here)... we will be back
First time trying this truck here in Ok city. Food was delicious. Chicken Arabi and Chicken Rice Bowl or something. It was tasty.
Food is amazing! This place is awesome. We ordered ahead of time and it still took about 30 minutes, that’s about my only complaint. The sauces are good too, along with the fries!
It’s awesome that they stay really busy! All of the ingredients are delicious. The portions could be bigger for the price too.
Parking is tight but thankfully it’s at a gas station so people are moving in and out.
We ordered Italian with fries, Arabi with fries and 2 Sandwiches.. The food is so delicious, I didn’t expect that, specially that I’m coming from an Arabic country so I’m a bit picky with Arabic food, but Abu Omar Halal is another level.. I literally enjoyed till the last bite.. the food is enough and satisfying..
The price is fine compared to other Arabic restaurants..
I just didn’t like the fries because they were too crunchy..
the seats weren’t clean, so flies were in the area.
The garlic sauce is amazing.
Always loved the place but seems it's going downhill. For an $18 rice bowl it shouldn't be half empty. Came with 1 jalapeño in the whole bowl and almost all lettuce that was wilted and old. Other veggies were barely existent. Flavors still good in the meat but low quality veggies ruins it.
