Absecon Dental is absolutely the BEST! The dental staff was so kind and helpful I was amazed that this kind of people still existed! Can't say enough good things about them. Totally PROFESSIONAL

My daughter's routine appointment today was great! The wait time was quick. The staff including the assistants, hygienist, and doctor were very friendly and knowledgeable = )
Got there and my appointment was cancelled, 2 people in waiting room so it wasn't busy at all. I ended up being seen as a walk in but felt extremely rushed. The dentist didn't even look at my entire mouth just where it was hurting at that moment. Said I need 2 teeth pulled, however I know there are more than 2 that need to come out as there are more broken only with tiny pieces left of the teeth. She would've seen that had she looked at my entire mouth not just 1 spot.
Absecon Family Dental is listed as in network on my insurance. When I made my appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction two weeks prior, I was told that they do accept my insurance. A day before my appointment, they called to confirm my appointment. Later that day they called to ask me to email photos of my insurance card. At about 4:59 p.m. that day, they sent me a text to say they don't take my insurance. Then they sent me a text confirming my appointment. So I went to my appointment the next day, the woman who I had spoken to on the phone wouldn't even speak to me. She said to the receptionist, "I TOLD her we don't take her insurance!" So I asked if I could pay out of pocket, because I need a painful wisdom tooth removed, and they said no. Basically, they refused care. So I left, and had to find another oral surgeon. Now I have to wait even longer to have the aching wisdom tooth removed. Even though I was amiable to them, the one woman was dismissive and rude.
I have a small business and I know how to treat people. I understand that when you look someone in the eye and address them face to face, kneecap to knee cap, eye ball to eyeball.
She addressed me with her back turned.
When I turned around and she faced the computer and didn't even face me or greet me and look me in the eye...I was immediately pissed.????????????
The the dentist calmly asked me about my symptoms and how I was feeling and in the same 30 seconds she said you need a root canal.
Her bedside manner is horrible and this was my third time visiting the dentist.
I took my x-rays and said that I will never do business with someone who does not look me in the eye for procedure that serious.
I believe she's very cold and rude and needs to return to Russia.
I will never pay anyone my money will my copay will allow my insurance to pay anyone you're so rude and cold
The scheduling and office coordinator team is TERRIBLE!!! Several attempts to schedule a new patient appointment which the first scheduled appointment was canceled (only to be found out when my mother arrived at the office). I had requested another date if possible (never received a call back) and asked that the existing appointment should stand until a new date was confirmed......... Then we scheduled another appointment to only find out the Dentist called out as we pulled into the parking lot shortly before her appointment. I can only imagine how the dental service would be if this is the level of quality at first interaction with this facility.........Don't waste your time and send your loved one to this practice that can't even get scheduling right.....
They get busy sometimes but I have never had a dentist office provide such expert skill for my dental health. I could not recommend Abseacon Family Dental enough, I seriously would give 10 stars if I could! They have put in so much time and tender care to correct the years of bad work from dismissive, careless dentists who have worked on me in the past. I thank the Dr. every time I see her because she hasn't just taken away the pain I was living in every day, she actually, literally gave me my smile back!
Front desk service was excellent. Staff was quick, friendly, and professional. The hygienist and dentist equally so. I'm glad I finally made an appointment here.
