The food was good & hot & fresh. I got the fried shrimp combo & my aunt got the catfish combo. They cook the fish fresh so you have to wait a little but that’s fine
True North Carolina soul food. The BBQ was good. We had chicken, cabbage, rootabega. The Mac and cheese is too die for. Would recommend for a true taste of the South.
I enjoyed the delicious food there. Everyone was very pleasant. The restaurant was clean and the service was great. We need one in our area of VA.
Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. Everything looked good. I had beef stew and yams - excellent southern style.
I have been here before several years ago and it didn't disappoint. I visited today for lunch and it was still as good as I remember. Hamburger steak, mac and cheese, and collards...never go wrong with that combo...delicious!
I've been eating Abrams since I was a kid (the one in tarboro and pinetops) but the one here in Scotland neck is awful. I've been maybe 4x since I've been in this area and the lady inside was extremely polite. But whoever runs the drive through is extremely rude. Dealt with her on 3 separate occasions and every single time she cuts you off mid order telling you to pull forward, constantly rushing you to finish your order, very rude tone and all around attitude. I don't appreciate people let alone people who are supposed to be on the clock providing a good service being rude to my wife for absolutely no cause whatsoever. Will not be eating at this Abrams anymore. Period. It's sad when customers have better hospitality towards each other more than those who are paid to do so. Do not recommend this location. Food is still good as long as they have it on hand but not worth the disrespect I've have to tolerate between me and MY WIFE.
They have good food but I would only get it if you're in the other location areas.

First timer here....BBQ was what I needed. Place is nothing fancy but some nice folks work here...
Note: and I say this as a former food & service employee. Dining floors should preferably never be swept while folks are dining...
However I recommend this place..would go back.
