Easy to register. Can answer check in online. Staff is very nice and professional. They smile and chat with you for a few minutes. Nurses are great. The office is clean. Dr. Tenthoff is wonderful. She cares about her patients. And I like that she is direct. Says how it is. Very good p,ace for health needs.
The level of unprofessionalism that was display at this office is absurd. I ask for a supervisor only to find out the supervisor is the unprofessional one. Ms. Angelica runs a circus, I never met someone so rude in a place of business in the healthcare industry. The words I heard coming out of her mouth talking about another patient to an employee is something that I wouldn’t dare say. You need to hold your employees accountable, maybe screen who you hire as a supervisor before you put unqualified folks in high seats.
Me and my children are patients at this facility and have been for about 3 years. All the staff is extremely nice and they have recently gotten a lot better with answering the phones. I also love the convenience of being able to be seen in the evenings. We have never had a long wait to go to the back to see a doctor, BUT.. when you actually get to the back is when the waiting happens. Every appt takes an hour or more and I cant figure out why since you only actually talk with the doctor for like 6 minutes. I've been called to the back many times and then waited for a doctor to come to the room for over an hour before. You also have to contact them multiple times to complete paperwork or fax over information. I'm also not sure why they used to never answer the phone or hold times would be so long because I've never seen the office crowded so to the eye they don't appear too busy to pick up a phone. Since we only have to come here once or twice a year I will continue to go, but if you are a person who has to see your doctor on a regular you may want to chose a different practice with better communication.
Do NOT go here. For a decade I dealt with long wait times (always 1-2hrs for a SCHEDULED appointment), medical negligence (Dr. Susan Fielder violated me during a pelvic exam and misdiagnosed with with a pelvic infection when I actually had an ovarian cyst), was misdiagnosed and treated multiple times for conditions I DID NOT HAVE. When I finally moved they LOST MY CHILDS MEDICAL RECORDS including immunization records and they refused to refill my albuterol inhaler causing me to have a MEDICAL EMERGENCY! Avoid this place at all costs. I have filed a formal complaint and I advise anyone with similar experience to do so as well. Please reach out to be directly if you need help with this, this place needs to be investigated and closed for good.
I just had a baby and chose this pediatrician because they were close to my home. We had a scheduled appointment for our first pediatrician appt post hospital discharge, the nurse took us back to the exam room about 10 minutes after we checked in. They had my newborn take off his onesie and just keep a diaper on for his height & weight- fine. We return back to the exam room and they tell me to leave my newborn unclothed and a doctor would be in shortly. Well, after a 1 hour 15 minute wait, no doctor has arrived to see us. My newborn is becoming extremely hungry and irritable. I go to the front desk to tell them we still haven't seen a doctor and asked when we can expect to be seen- they had no clue we weren't seen yet and couldn't give us an estimate of when we would even be seen because they had to "fit us in inbetween other patients", and if I was aware of that I would have never of agreed to an appointment here. Completely unprofessional and unorganized. Do not recommend.
We absolutely love this office and all the doctors. Our little one was born at Abington and in the pediatric care for two weeks after delivery and the doctors she had there she has continued to see at this office and I just wanted to say they always have gone above and beyond and are just so amazing. Especially Doctor Bhasha and Doctor Fierstein. They are all around just amazing. Thank you for always taking great care of our little girl.
I’ve been a patient here for a number of years, always with pretty good service, but as of late this place has become terrible! When you call, you literally sit on hold for 30 or more minutes! I left 5 messages over the course of two weeks in an attempt to get a prescription refill. When I finally spoke with someone, she told me the medication I was requesting (which I’ve been taking for almost 5 years) wasn’t in the system. Apparently they recently switched to a new EMR system, and clearly all patient information did not transfer over. I’m confused because they should still be able to access the old system. I was told by one of the receptionists that they are extremely short staffed and a 30 minute hold time is the norm. How??? If this is the norm, then clearly some heads need to roll. Upper management needs to address what is happening at this facility, because this is unacceptable!!! At this stage, I think it’s time to explore other options.
Been my primary office the majority of my life. Never had any issues until recently. I’m not sure if they have new management or something, but it’s easier to get an actual human being on the phone when calling the IRS. I’ve never known any doctors office to be so busy that you have to wait 30mins - 1hr to speak to someone when calling to make an appointment. Doesn’t matter what day or what time of day. Always a wait of at least 30 mins. It’s actually ridiculous. Aside from that, I never have issues once I get past the huge obstacle of making an appointment.
45 mins & counting... just to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
UPDATE: took 55 mins for my call to get through. Receptionist took my info & said a Dr. will call me back shortly & to stay by the phone. Still no appointment scheduled....
Update update: every time I have to go here or call them for anything it gets worse every time. Honestly you’re better off going to any type of urgent care facility. This place is a joke
