Best WLM Reviews

The restaurant staff was very friendly and the service was quick. Their homemade potato chips were very good and a nice change from fries. The chicken tenders were large but dry. The fried haddock sandwich was tasty. Their wings were nicely prepared but very spicy. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was generously sized but I didn't care for the flavor. Overall, Abenaki Trail was disappointing compared to the reviews. The dining room needs a refresh and the floor, table and chairs were sticky. There is plenty of free parking.
The food and service was great. My only complaint is the prices. BUT the prices are fair for the HUGE portions. However, I really don't see how anyone can eat that much. And I'm a HUGE eater. Due to that, we ended up just ordering apps. Even the apps were larger portions than I've ever seen and I've traveled and eaten all over the country. The potato skins were gigantic and honestly the best I've ever had. I just think they should lower the prices and portions just a bit. I couldn't justify paying that much for all that food just to waste some of it.
This place was okay. It's a very loud space, very cavernous. I am understanding that this place was in the middle of transferring to a new owner so please take that into account when reading this review and allow for the adjustment period. The service was outstanding. We felt very taken care of and were seated promptly and checked on throughout our meal. We had appetizers and dinner. The appetizer was better than the dinner. We had both ordered burgers, medium rare and got one that was medium-well and one that was well done. The flavor was great just not the cook. Love the free refills on soda. Hopefully they will add a dessert menu too. You can tell there has been renovations done and the difference between the new and old is obvious-one part of the floor is brand new and the other part had been there for quite some time as it was very dirty and super sticky. I plan to revisit to give it another chance after a little more time has passed under the new ownership.
Love the vibe and the staff here. The food is freshly made and so while it is NOT fast food it is great food and worth the wait.
What a great find. !!! Just driving by and thought we should check it out. Our waiter Bryan is super friendly, very knowledgeable about the restaurant and menu. Gave excellent recommendations. The atmosphere, decor and don’t forget the poutine reminded me of home !!! The chicken salad sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. Poutine sauce was on point , although the cheese is usually on top. ;). In this case I didn’t care it was that good. !!!! It reminded me of my childhood skiing with my family in Quebec. Menu has something for everyone!!!! Thank you so much Bryan for the awesome service.!!!!!
Overall we had a lovely lunch. My husband and granddaughter enjoyed their burgers and fries. I had the lobster roll which was on the bland side. The amount of lobster was very generous and in large chunks but needed salt and pepper and the bun was not toasted. Service was excellent.
Great food, great service. Really hit the spot. The home made ranch dressing… that was a treat. And the home made potato chips… sadly I swapped for fries. Sister had the chips, so I did get to try them. Better than the fries, to me.
Casual family dining with a great wait staff with a awesome sense of humor! Dinner was very good and more than affordable! Our waitress Lo Lo was great and kept coming back to check on us, she had a great personality but if you didn't like her service then her name was Mary! LoL Come with your family and have fun while eating it's very kid friendly. You won't be disappointed and you won't wait as long as other restaurants to get in!
