Traveling through we found this awesome country place with a buffet. It was perfect. We ordered the buffet and you pick one entry. I got spaghetti and my friend got chicken fried chicken. We enjoyed everything. Big verity of vegetables on the bar. Service was great. They have all types of goodies at the register and I loved reading and looking at them signs and pictures on the wall.
A very relaxing dinner. A slightly crusted salmon fillet with rice, coleslaw other trimmings. Topped off with apple pie ala mode with caramel drizzle. Zoe was an excellent server. Checked on me often enough. Been a while since I had a big dinner. Full.
They have a huge menu! I'll be back.
Fell on this place coming back from a day of helping the victims of hurricane Helene. I can't say enough good things about this place. Food, service, atmosphere, price ALL 10/10, and I normally stay far away from buffets, but this is not your Golden Coral.
Awesome breakfast buffet! We stopped by Abele's on the way to Tennessee and their breakfast bar was the perfect way to kickstart the long trip ahead!
They offer great value for money with a mouthwatering selection of sweet and savory breakfast items like pancakes, French toast, sausages, bacon, biscuits, fruits, and more. Plus the retro theme and friendly service makes it a truly one-of-a-kind place. Highly recommended!

Italian Feast and Fish Dinners are the best Food Deals in the Morganton. If you are on vacation. Abele's is a local tradition (former Shoneys). Family owned. The family and the business an asset to the community. Italian Feast Lovely Fresh Chicken breast. Fresh spaghetti noodles and a real meat sauce to die for. Wow. This place is so awesome. We were in Morganton for the day and we landed on this place for supper and it was an amazing decision.
Service was fast and very very kind and helpful. Food was stellar and everything on the buffet was fresh and hot. Atmosphere was very cool and eclectic. Truly can't beat the price either, very affordable for this quality, and a massive menu so there's something for everyone.
Will definitely come back!
