I love this place.
It's become one of my go-to stops for a quick bite for a great price many items to choose from.
Very tasty.
I was so lucky to have found this place. Amazing food and staff. Their lobby is spotless and the dining areas are cozy. You don't have to speak Spanish to enjoy a great place like this. Everyone should definitely stop by and try this wonderful restaurant. Their prices are pretty good too.
At the time we went was around 6PM and we’re greeted at the counter. I guess most of their consumers are drive thru or pick up because we (i and friend) were the only in there along with staff. The place was very clean as well!
Food came out fast but it looked at a glance the sauces were unavailable until we lifted the lid ourselves. The food was good with the portion sizing being more than expected. I liked their fried taco shells.
Overall, an adequate place for Mexican but not an immediate go to with the location unless i need mex super late at night.
Nice Mexican restaurant in Columbia. I got the Steak fajita nachos and it was all very tasty! The chips were nice and crispy, though the outside of the chips were quite oily. I think next time, I would opt for a burrito. The cheesecake chimichanga was a cool idea and good to try once.
There is good variety in the menu, and plenty of combination plates to choose from in case you can't decide on one item. Additionally, there are quite a bit of breakfast burrito options as well!
The restaurant itself has beautifully painted seats and plenty of seating.
I look forward to trying their other menu items and trying out a stuffed churro!
It was strange to read the negative reviews about this place. As you can see from the photos and videos, I'm not sure why this place was rated so poorly. My take on this is to go experience it for yourself, and then you'll know for sure.
As for why I decided to take a chance on them, I'm always on the lookout for authentic Mexican food like tripa, lengua & cabeza tacos, and Abelardos delivered.
P.s. Do yourself a favor, park and get out of your car, and dine in. It's awesome, plus unlimited sauces. Srsly. ????????????
People are complaining about the wait yet it just open and it’s really busy. Definitely a must try this Mexican restaurant has different flavors than others in Columbia. I like how they take out the fat of their chicken and their steak. Massive burritos breakfast all day and open late. it’s seasoned to perfection. Definitely going to be going here a lot. Can’t wait to try the Takis Burrito. Tuesday definitely is the deal! Five tacos for five dollars! Yes please
Abelardo's is great. Yes, the wait can be a bit long but that's because they make your food to order. The menu is huge and has something for everyone. I would define the food as fast casual. It's better than fast food chains but probably won't blow you away as something life changing. And that's not what they're going for; they're hours are awesome, the food is reliably good, portions are big, and we're excited to finally try eating it at the restaurant rather than to go.
Went through the drive through. Ordered birria tacos and a Takis burrito. Upon leaving I checked my food and immediately noticed I was missing my Takis burrito. The woman at the drive though tried say that she gave me my Takis burrito already. I brought the box of food in. Had to go back out to my vehicle to show them the bag that there was indeed not a burrito in with my order. The man at the counter was much more helpful and was able to resolve my issue.
