Not sure if we came at the wrong time but the food here was very disappointing. The fish was slimy and had little taste, the claypot spare ribs were bright red, moist in a bad way and also tasteless, the char Siu was also tasteless and very chewy. The only decent dish was the broccoli with beef. Service was decent, not much to say about it
I love everything about this Chinese restaurant! All the food is exquisite! Of course, we had our usual favorite dishes last night, with one addition: grilled yellow tail collar! What an awesome dish! It was absolutely delicious. The fish was light and tasty, and the presentation was beautiful! Superb!
Also, the staff is always welcoming and efficient, and the restaurant facilities are impeccable and comfortable!
This is THE BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT IN ST. PETE AND TAMPA! Absolutely off the charts!
We order roast duck with egg noodle soup and they turned out horrible the meat was chewy like plastic has a lot of fat in it, the inside was red and my my duck meat is pale white like they didn’t even cook them properly. The old place was so much better I missed the crispy skin of the duck roast with the flavor full sauce but now I think they pick to low quality duck to make more profit and I’m very disappointed
Love the lobster or crab with ginger and scallion. The steamed fish with soy sauce, ginger and scallion is pretty good too (but sometimes tastes a bit overcooked so it’s drier than I’d like). The steamed chicken with ginger scallion sauce is amazing. We’ve also tried the steamed oysters, which were pretty good.
My first time in to get some take out and I loved the vibe. I found the lady who was working in the front of the place to be upbeat and kind.
I ordered the wonton soup and the wontons were fresh and so delicious. The broth also had a delicious flavor that I'd willing to bet was also made in house.
Next was the beef chow fun with the homemade rice noodles. Huge portion and scrumptious! I could eat this again and again.
Pork fried rice. Huge portion and the best I've had! Tremendous flavor.
Everything tasted expertly made in house and I can see myself craving this food again. I can tell you that I can not ever see myself leaving ABC without some of that wonton soup!
2 stars out of 5. Still on the search for great, authentic Chinese food. We tried ABC Seafood (66th st) and it was very disappointing.
The Crab Rangoons had had no Krab in them. The Seafoid Fried Rice was more like steamed white rice, very bland and tasteless. And, my Seafood Chow Fun had very little seafood in it, only 1 piece of squid.
The real disappointment was the Salt & Pepper Calamari which had a stale texture as though it was cooked hours ago. These squid have fantastic reviews and they sucked!
The green tea was the best part, loose leaf tea, nice and hot. The service was great, very friendly and attentive.
This is an authentic Chinese restaurant and should be on your list of places to try. Food was very tasty and they were really friendly. This is not fast food style Chinese, this is proper Chinese food.
Visited with a large group and were well taken care of. There is a lazy Suzanne in the middle of the table and we all kept spinning it and sampling everyone's meals! Everything I tasted was excellent! Highly recommend.
