Came for lunch after church, not crowed. First time eating for lunch. Had a lunch combo salad and grinder. Very good, never had before. Great food here. Don't be afraid to come. You won't be disappointed.
We were not fond of this location. The spaghetti was very sweet. I'm sorry, but no. After adding salt, it was barely okay. Ended up taking it home and throwing it away. The plant city location was WAY better. The spaghetti sauce was not sweet it was perfect. But this location is a big nope. I'll make the drive to plant city when and if I want Italian food and don't make it at home.
The letter missing in the store name is “F” for the food quality. The pizza was DRENCHED in excess oil. The bottom of the pizza was literally dripping it out and you can see from the sheet how much oil was pooling out. Why is there oil, and this much at that, for a regular pizza?? The cheese was just one solid layer and chewy, as if it was cheap cheese just quickly heated and not properly melted down. I could not even taste the pizza sauce due to all of the oil.
Wings were terrible too. Quite chewy and dry, and just barely covered in sauce.
At the counter I even pointed out to the cashier that I saw a bug on top of the cheesecake on display, which she at least removed the cheesecake after I said so. That should have been my first warning sign.
I try to support local businesses but I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. There may be health code violations, and there certainly is no care given to how they’re making these pizzas. Spend your money elsewhere is my suggestion.
This is the 3rd time I have ordered from this location and they have failed to send me the complete meal I ordered. I’ve eaten Dine in, take out, and delivery. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter which way I ordered my meal, an item I paid for and is clearly listed on the receipt was not in the bag. This time was the most disappointing for me since it was the 3rd consecutive time ordering delivery and half of my meal missing. It’s seriously upsetting to order from one of my favorite restaurants and not get what I paid for. ABC has been a family favorite for years and it’s just been these past few months that I’ve been disappointed service wise. It could be a “he said she said” scenario if the delivery service is ran by a 3rd party, either way.. I really wish someone had taken the time to confirm the items in my order before handing them off to a delivery driver.
My husband and I used to go here frequently for the gyro platter, which we loved, but the first time we ordered takeout we got home and discovered that we had gotten gyro sandwiches with chips instead of the platters we had ordered. I thought “no problem, mistakes happen, I’ll call and explain the mistake to get a credit on our next order.” When I called they were incredibly rude, not even apologizing for the mistake and acting like I was trying to get something for nothing. I’m an honest person and don’t complain unless something is really wrong. All I expected was a $3 credit, which was less than the tip I put in the tip jar when I picked up my order. They made me feel so unwelcome that I felt like I couldn’t ever go there again. Great gyro sandwich if you don’t mind being treated like trash.
This one is tricky. The food was good, and the portions were gigantic for the price. But the waitress seemed as if she would have had a better day if we just hadn't shown up. I over-tipped even though it wasn't really that great of an experience, but I figured people are hurting right now. She didn't seem impressed, so I guess she's not hurting. I won't do that again, but I will probably eat there one more time. But no food is worth lousy service.
Pizza has been super greasy lately. The last 4 times ordering I’ve had to literally pat the oil off the pizza. This pizza was once my go to but I just can’t keep purchasing oily pizza and paying for it after due to loyalty. My stomach can’t take it anymore. The wings taste like they are boiled and then air fried. I ordered them twice and after that second time I said never again. My recent experiences have saddened me and I don’t know when or if I will try them again.
Noticed how clean it was no dust. The waitress was great the portions were really good. The food was pretty good maybe needed a little more flavor, but pretty good. Will definitely return soon.
