Haven't reviewed this place in a long time.
If you've never been, seating is limited especially for a large group.
That said, dinner last night was great! As usual, we ordered a lot and rolled out.
Siu Mei, turnip cake and stuffed eggplant helped to ward off the longing for our favorite dim sum in Malaysia. The Ma Po Tofu was excellent as was Pork Belly.
Highly recommended, closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
I am not local and just found this place very close to my hotel. So here I came. The Hong Kong style won ton soup noodle is good. The won ton is all shrimp, much better than the pork type. The noodle is not the standard won ton noodle but it will do given this is not China town in San Francisco or Houston. I will give it 85%. The siu my is a bit disappointing since they were not streaming hot. Taste good though. 70%.
Theyalso have the famous soy sauce chow mein. Looks great in the picture. Hope I can try it next time I go there.

Just wow! We ordered a bunch of dim sum.and it did not disappoint. Our favs were the shrimp wonton with chili sauce, curry beef puffs, and Xiao long bao! The crab Rangoon a have crab in them which is always a plus! Very fast and hot food. Highly recommend!
ABC cafe is one of my top 10 favorite things about being alive. Great for brunch or dinner, but get here early on weekends because it gets (rightfully) crowded. Extensive all-day dim sum.
1 of our favorite stops for authentic Chinese in KC. The Singapore Noodles are literally something I'll crave and my favorite noodle dish in KC. The shrimp spring rolls are also amazing. Great pork pot stickers and the wonton soup is such a comforting soup. ABC Chicken is a must have as are the spicy shrimp wonton. So many delicious choices, make sure to check them out plus easy to get to from 87th and I35
I walked in and was surprised at how small the restaurant was. They didn't have any cheung fun (rice noodle roll), which was a bummer since this is my go-to dim sum item. The HK Style Shrimp Wonton Soup tasted very authentic. The Curry Fish Balls and Chicken Feet were good but small. Other items I liked were the Siu Mai, Har Gow, Seafood Dumpling, XO Chicken Wing, Shrimp Wonton with Chili Sauce, and Hot and Spicy Beef Tendon. The Beef Short Rib was the only thing I didn't like, as it lacked flavor. The staff can speak both Mandarin and Cantonese. The prices are fair. All in all, it may not be the best dim sum you've had, but it's one of the best Kansas City has to offer.
The shumai and the Singapore noodles were delicious, and so did the salt and pepper squid. The food came out relatively fast, which is what I liked. However, the curry beef puff could use some more beef chunks in its filling, but it was still good. Overall, this restaurant serves the best dim sum in the Kansas City area, and it gets 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Beyond thankful I stopped in for lunch. The service was fantastic and food was good! Like reminded me of authentic food from my restaurant days in Los Angeles. I met two other “foodies” when I dined in solo. Highly recommend this spot. I will be back with my husband - as there were so many vegetarian options as well.
