In for a late lunch (looks like mostly people review breakfast here).
The philly tasted good, the cheese combined with the veg along with an a 'Ju bowl for dipping worked out for me with the soft yet crisp bun combo. Just wish the portion size was larger. The slaw had good flavor to it and is a good sub for fries.
The salad and half sandwich was also not quite enough to fill up on; maybe a whole sandwich could have done it.
My advice: increase the portion sizes on the mains and sides.
The restaurant and restrooms were new looking which is good in a town where "diner" style restaurants are stuck in time.
I was introduced to this great local restaurant about two months ago, and I rave about it! My dear friend and I love coming for the extended menu options. The waitstaff are always smiling and friendly, and wow! The food is so plentiful and delicious...YUM. A country, hometown atmosphere which we like very much. I highly recommend to come see and experience for yourself.
Food was so good forgot to take a pic. Service was outstanding! Food was delicious! Establishment was clean. Loved the old time Hemet pictures on the walls. We have one that matches with the artist signature so we thought that was pretty cool ???? definitely going again and again so we can try more dishes. Menu was classic diner/Cafe selection ????
Update: I said we would go again and again ???? except recently during the holidays we show up every Sunday. I remembered to take pics before I ate on a couple visits. So I was very happy to share this update. If you go on Sundays we'll see you soon ????
Efrain and his finance were amazingly attentive. When ordering I chose the red sauce which is spicy and he brought me a hotter sauce on the side and said “it seems like you like spicy so I brought you a good one with a little more kick if you want it” and that set the mood for his service, he never missed any details and he made sure we were taken care of the whole time. Not a lot of servers left that are this good, treat him well :)
First time here for breakfast, we ordered the California Omelet and Meat Lovers Omelet. Both meals were fresh, large portions and absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere all the staff was very friendly everything was nice. We will definitely be back!
Home style cooking, delicious , and timely served. Nice neighborly atmosphere we had the cheese burgers and onion rings. I had an Arnold Palmer drink, my wife had coffee.
Great Food, Family/Community Atmosphere and fair pricing. 6 stars was not allowed on google, so I had to give 5! We host a resident breakfast a couple time per year and all love it!
First time here and I ordered this epic custom omelette. Ingredients were fresh and unbelievably tasty. Staff is friendly, and atmosphere is lovely. Add that up with the affordable pricing, and it definitely won’t be my last time here. Thanks Abby’s!!! ????????
