Food was really good. Was not sure to expect for Italian on key west but was pleasantly surprised. Was told by a few locals it is the best on the island and it did not disappoint. Definitely worth the meal. Also as a bonus we have been trying key lime pie all over the island and although it is not traditional it ended up being one of our favorites.
Excellent service and outstanding food. The calamari was perfect and the clams linguine was great as well. Will be back our next time in Key West.
The food was good but big portion! Staff is super friendly. It's not on Duval so it's a nice and quiet walk there... you also get more family crowd not the party crew.

We enjoyed both! For dessert, we had cannoli & homemade raspberry ice cream. The whole meal was delicious! Next time we are Key West, we will be back.
Very nice place and the waiter we had was super nice. Overall the food was good, but I'm a bit picky on italian and would have liked a sauce with a bit more flavor.
Loved, loved, loved the authentic Italian cuisine at this restaurant, a bit off the beaten path in Key West. Friendly, attentive staff. The food was delicious with very large portions. We had fresh bread with olive oil, balsamic, & ground pepper, chicken parm, veal parm, & fresh caught black grouper. Probably could've shared a single entree between 2 adults. The art & ambiance were very nice, too, & it wasn't as crowded as many places in the super busy areas of the island. Good wine & cocktail selection. Everything was so fresh! Prices were great for island dining. Would definitely recommend!
We decided to try the spot because it was around the corner from our hotel in Key West and it kept calling to us. On our last night there, we couldn't resist any longer and decided to give it a try. We were absolutely not disappointed. You may not think of Italian fare when you go to Key West but if you’re in the mood for something different after lots of seafood, highly recommend Abbondanza. The atmosphere is moody and dark so it’s perfect for a date night. The menu isn’t overly large, but there is a lot of traditional Italian dishes, and some seafood inspired ones as well. We had great service, and everyone at the table loved every single item we ordered. The chicken
marsala, the spaghetti and meatballs, the sausage and peppers, steamed clam appetizer was a hit with their delicious bread. We were too full to eat dessert but cannot recommend this highly enough if you are craving something Italian while in Key West.
