Excellent customer service by the front desk team, very friendly! Pet friendly and has a dog lawn. Rooms are older but are clean. Beds are newer and comfortable! The exterior has been renovated nicely. The lodge has plenty of outdoor seating to spend time with your family and pets after a long drive.
We were delighted when we entered our room at Abajo Lodge. It was much larger than expected, meticulously clean, updated decor, comfortable beds and pillows, with extra blankets available. My only possible suggestion would be to offer liquid cream for the coffee. Everything else was great!
Our room was very clean. It was modern and nice. The prices were good. But the owners were GREAT!! They were so helpful and kind. I wish them the best with their hotel business.
AMERICAN OWNED. Passing through on a cross country motorcycle trip. As mentioned in a prior reviews. The owners are super friendly and accommodating, they are also motorcycle riders themselves. The rooms are very clean and very nice. Recently remodeled, even still has new carpet smell! Beds are new and comfortable. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
Positive: The room was fantastic........ I have never slept in a more comfortable bed " in my life "........ if we go to Monticello next year for the annual golf outing, I will definitely be staying here and telling others in the group to do so also... Negative: nothing to not like.
I recently stayed at Abajo Lodge for 9 days. A year ago, the hotel changed management. The new owners are helpful and very friendly and jump on any open problems. In prior reviews, complaints are that the place has no pool and/or no breakfast. The pool has not been open for 15 years and while they do not have a restaurant there are several places within walking distance for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The rooms are comfortable and are at least as nice as many Marriott Fairfield Inns or Hilton Hampton Inns, at a substantially lower price. Please note, additional renovations are planned for December 2024.
First time being here. Room was big and bed very comfy. Not too big of a deal, but the TV was pretty small. Very hometown feel. Nicely remodeled ????????
Positive: The front desk woman gave us delicious cookies. Negative: The floor is a little outdated. There was 2 different spiders on the ceiling which tells me it isn?t the cleanest place to stay.
