Best WLM Reviews
Aba offers a vibrant, upscale dining experience with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors in a chic, airy setting. The menu features fresh, shareable dishes. Spicy garlic hummus was so delicious, I have never had hummus this smooth. The drinks menu includes creative cocktails and a well-curated wine list. The atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated, with attentive service. It is an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions, offering a memorable dining experience in Austin’s competitive food scene.
Loved the venue and outdoor dining space. It tried to drizzle, but staff was very rapid in removing umbrellas when not raining to replace with radient heaters and moving back umbrellas when rain returned. Loved the trees and lighting outdoors as well. Just a very romantic experience.
The food was very fresh and prepared perfectly. Loved the exotic wine options/collection. Great service, and everyone around me seemed to be enjoying themselves as well.
One of my favorite restaurants in Austin. The decor is as beautiful as it gets, and the food is excellent. The only issue is that it can be hard to get a seat. They also have excellent cocktails, and their vanilla soft serve with olive oil and sea salt is delicious. This is on our short list of places to bring out-of-town friends. All the food is great here. It’s all high quality, well prepared, and flavorful.
Refreshing, beautiful atmosphere… fans with misters made it feel as comfortable as could be. The lighting was beautiful. Vegetation made such a difference… it was very open yet felt private, like someone’s house/back yard.
The food was very impressive in presentation, quality, and taste. One of the best meals I have had in sometime.
A unique restaurant concept. A Mediterranean flair mash up with a California twist. This restaurant has tapas size portions so eating a variety of things is a must. Atmosphere was really unique as well. Staff was very polite and professional.
Aba is a casual Mediterranean restaurant bar with a California vibe that seems to attract all the "cool kids." If you expect Mediterranean food to be light and refreshing, then you will enjoy the food here. I don't know how "authentic" it is, but it's what I imagine "authentic Mediterranean" food to be like. The vibe of this place matches the food, which is light and refreshing. Sprinkle on a cocktail or two; you're guaranteed a light and refreshing experience, at least until the check comes. This chain of restaurants is expanding slowly to trendy areas of major cities, so you may see them pop up in another trendy area soon. I look forward to another visit, but with a reservation..
Fine dining at its best! Although there was a short wait since we didn’t have a reservation, my friend and I decided to relax at the bar. While waiting, we shared a Shady Beach cocktail, which is served for 2-6 people. It was incredibly refreshing. About 20 minutes later, our table was ready, and we had already gone over the menu, so we knew exactly what we wanted. I ordered the crispy short rib hummus, and my friend had the chicken kebab with rice and salad. For dessert we shared the Sticky Date Cake I didn’t have space but I sure did make space. Everything was absolutely delicious—mouthwateringly marvelous and worth every bite. Thumbs up all around!
Finally got to try Aba and on my birthday! Was initially skeptical due to the reviews showing that portions are small and not worth for the price paid. However, the food portions were good sized. Some of the items like the hummus and falafel were sharing sizes and they were of good size. The food tasted delicious and service was prompt. The server was very attentive to our needs as well. I would definitely come back again. We had the crispy short ribs hummus, green falafel, lamb and beef kafta, olive oil and salt frozen yogurt (on the house and very fresh!), blackberry mead beer and a dessert wine (very sweet).
Came back a second time and had the same items. Everything was great! The only thing was that service was a bit slow today. But overall still good!
