It's been a long time since I've been here, and it did not disappoint. The food was good!! I loved the fries and the peanut butter shake. The lemon sauce was yummy on the chicken sandwich. The service was a little slow. Only one cook on a Friday.
Update 9/16/2024: We have been back three times in the last month, and hadn’t been since I had written the original review. The shakes have been good all 3 times and back to how we always remembered them. :)
We love the fries and burgers, but the shakes have gone down in quality. The shake machine breaks the cookie dough into tiny pieces and so we always have to ask for an additional mix-in to add the cookie dough ourselves, which is on the menu for .99 extra. The last few times we have offered to pay the extra dollar to get a side of cookie dough and one time they let us buy it but the last two times they said we can’t. They won’t let us order an additional mix-in to actually taste the cookie dough, when it is on the meunu and we offer to pay. We will go else where
My sister and I stopped by and decided to have the chili cheese dogs. If you like a fine chopped up mix of chili and slices of cheddar. On a foot long dog and bun. The service was a little slow tonight. It has been the past couple of times going here.
Seems like new employees are being trained. You feel like a ghost standing there waiting to place your order.
The tastiest burgers I've ever had! A very clean and cozy place, it has a photo gallery of its history and great service from its staff. I love the giant hot dogs This place has fresh, non-frozen products and is prepared every day. They are well deserved 5 stars. Highly Recommended place
Order doordash 3-piece fish I received one piece of fish that looked okay the other piece of fish had four or five half stick pieces of fish all clumped together and looks disgusting and uncooked. To top it off, I received no tartar sauce with the fish(I do not want to drive there to get tartar sauce, hence door dash. ), and also half the fries look burned & old. I also have not trying to get a free meal nor a refund. Would just like the owner of AB's to know the service that we're receiving and I just won't order food from you anymore.Cozy Winter meal and a movie with my wife ruined...but not ruined. I was pleasantly surprised by this little joint. We dined in and the setting is really cute- genuine classic diner feel and decor throughout. We had the Fat Burger and fries which were both flavorful and fresh. The kitchen is wide open and you can actually sit up at the bar and watch your food being prepared. The restaurant/bathroom were very clean and the staff was friendly. We would eat here again!

Yes, my kid works there. We were going over to give some money to buy dinner but mainly because we wanted to order some onion rings and shakes. They knew we were there. My kid wanted to serve us but they would not let my kid take our order. Fries cooking were more important.
Five minutes later we were still waiting. Many drive thru orders were taken and a couple of others appeared to not be doing much of anything. But they still would not let anybody serve us or even take our order. Once we started walking out, the managing kid said something and we just kept walking.
I have been going to Ab's for year's. But the last 2 times the service was horrendous. The girl at the drive through. Same girl both times is. Very rude. The wait time has always been longer than most drive ins. But has been worth the great tasting food. But both times over 40 mins from menu to getting food. That's ridiculous. It wasn't even during busy times. I will give it a month or so before I go again hopefully they will figure it out or I will just have to stop going there.
