In November, I placed an order for two items. One of the items arrived promptly , but the second item, a firearm, had to be pick up directly from the store once it arrived. The item finally arrived at the store but there was no notification email of arrival send out to me. After 16 days waiting to hear from AAFES, and two phone calls direct to Customer Service in Texas in which they had no clue at all about my order location, and were side stepping like crazy, I then decided to travel to the Main store at Ft. Stewart to speak with the store manager.
I spoke with the manager and explained the issue I was having. She immediately took care of the issue after speaking with the person who received the item at the store Firearms counter 10 days earlier. It appears the item was received and entered in the system as received. I was told the item once entered, the email system would automatically generated an email notifying the customer the item was available for pick up, but it failed to send the email for some reason.
However, The people I spoke with over the phone at AAFES headquarters in Texas are 100% clueless. They didn't know anything and kept giving me the run around responses.
Thankfully, The Ft. Stewart Main Store Manager resolved the issue in moments. I certainly appreciate the manager for taking the time to meet with me and resolving the issue. Also Much appreciated the two ladies at the counter were also extremely helpful. I'm very please with my purchase and will continue to place order in the near future. To the Ft. Stewart Manager and the ladies at the Firearms counter, they get 5 stars. I would give them 15 stars if possible.
I went to fort Stewart today for some purchases and questions. The ladies at the information center were informative. The lady in the fragrance department, was also very helpful. Unfortunately the older lady at the check out was exceedingly rude. It was too early in the morning to act this way. And not many customers to work with. Score may be reflective. 5s for the others. I would rate this lady less than a I'm a senior citizen widow. Don't deserve this. Nor does anyone else.

Pretty small PX in comparison to fort Stewart and definitely much much smaller than my last duty station's PX (camp Humphreys). But good enough store for little stuff like clothes, shoes, electronics, toys, and tobacco products. Decent, good prices, nice little PX in HAAF.
Went to the PX to look for interview prep they have some great dress shirts, slacks and cologne.
The PX is neither very large nor very small. There are many items and sizes missing, especially men's clothing. I'm also not sure if the prices are reasonable.
Fort Stewart Exchange leaves much to be desired, especially for young ages to middle-age individuals. The selection is limited, and the prices are high, similar to the commissary. The food court's options are underwhelming as well. I've visited other installation exchanges, and they are definitely better than Fort Stewart's. Needs improvement in variety and affordability.
Constantly out of stock and today spent over 30min on every extension just trying to get ahold of anyone...it just rings and rings
A lot of good products, great prices.
