Best WLM Reviews
The sushi was good. You order food on a sheet and its the same portions and prices as a conveyor plate sushi restaurant. The difference is they make everything fresh to order. My server was very nice and the price is reasonable.
The only dish I did not like was the stuffed mushroom - it was just too big for me. Everything else was delish!
I will be coming back!
Cannot share enough good things about AA Sushi! They are my go-to sushi place nearby that is super fast, reliable, reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! I love the smaller portion sizes because I get to sample new things more easily! They also have great pictures online of all their menu items (I’m a very visual person). I do wish they used the conveyor belt like a more traditional revolving sushi bar, but I understand they made this adaption during Covid and kept the necessary changes. It’s never taken away from my experience! Plus I generally order takeout more than dine in. Staff are always very welcoming and handle everything with such great service!
Really good quality sushi for a great price! Unfortunately, the sushi belt is no longer in service and orders are placed through a menu you write down onto, which takes a lot of the fun out of it. No tempura sauce for their (otherwise very good) tempura, either.
Love their seared salmon, toro and squid nigiris! Their rolls are half rolls (4 pieces) so they are cheaper and you can try more rolls in a meal! Flavors were well-balanced and well-made. The salmon don was of a decent portion too. I wouldn’t recommend the negihama roll though - look how tiny it was!
This is my second visit and last time I got a fish roe nigiri that was way too salty - I guess that the roes were marinated in soy sauce but don’t quote me on that.
The food was delicious, the restaurant was very busy, we were not badly served, but there were few waiters, there was no conveyor belt service, you select the items you want and the quantity, the menu is incredible with photos and descriptions of all the items.
We heard many times about this place from our friends and family, so here we go..
The restaurant used to be sushi belt restaurant but now they made by order which is we LOVED it because it fresh like in the sushi bar ala carte but we paid like sushi belt price ($3-$6)/plate.
We ordered a lot nigiri, they have bluefin tuna toro and uni (from Hokaido) sooo good..king salmon, atlantic salmon. All fish are fresh and the cut is reasonable with the price. Salmon bomb is must try, every roll has their unique flavor and tasty.
The place is clean and the staff very nice and attentive, our order only takes about 10 menit to start coming (in their busy time, we came on dinner). So lucky we tried this place such a hidden gem in Kirkland. Definitely will come back again and try others items on their menu. Very very recommended .
The fish tastes very good especially in the nigiris. Prices are on the lower side especially for sushi. And the staff are very nice. Service always a little bit slow and we went at a somewhat busy time. Would be happy to come back.
Heard good things, was somewhat disappointed.
The salmon was good, the tuna was bland, and the ginger and miso soup were both very sweet. Maybe the salt and sugar got mixed up? Would stay away from rolls next time, as most of them fell apart.
Server forgot a roll and never brought it out. She didn’t know how to remove the item from the bill, so we just had to pay for it.
