Best WLM Reviews

We had brunch with 6 people. Everyone loved their food. There are plenty of options for everyone, including those with dietary restrictions. The bloody Mary’s and mimosas are delicious too. The decor is exactly what you’d expect in a diner. We came around Christmas time and the outdoor seating had heaters set up so it was very comfortable even though it was chilly and windy outside. The parking can be tight if it’s very busy but you can usually find a spot. It’s right across the street from a beach access too so if there’s a wait you can go for a walk.
We chose this place based off a recommendation and so glad we did. Gavin was our waiter and we got the chicken and waffles, Gillman’s bowl (not pictured) and free biscuit beignets (when signed up on the email list). Food was incredible and the atmosphere was relaxing on the patio. Loved seeing all the dogs join their owners for a Sunday breakfast. We will definitely visit again!
Great Mom and Pop! Great food and service. Gavin was our server. He was amazingly attentive to our experience. He even offered our four legged daughter a bowl of water. It was a bit breezy so I think it was the owner who offered us propane area heaters to make us more comfortable. We were dining on the partially enclosed patio. At some point it started to rain, so again the owner pulled down the patio sun shades to serve as a barrier. Great service!
I've had breakfast here a handful of times. It always seems to be packed, which is usually the sign of a good place to eat. The location is ideal, it's one of the few places you can easily take a stroll on the beach by just crossing the street. The chicken and waffles are probably the best iteration of that dish I've ever had. The chicken is tender, juicy, perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside, and flavorful with just the right amount of heat. I don't much care of waffles anywhere but they still compliment the chicken nicely. All around a pleasant experience.
Great breakfast while on vaca! The kids Mickey pancake was entirely too big but fun. Could have used triple the amount of chocolate chips but the toddler didn’t complain. The fruit waffle was completely covered with berries and bananas so as a fruit lover it was perfect. Service was great. Environment was nice. Recommend for a breakfast or brunch stop.
We stumbled upon this amazing diner in St. Augustine with very beachy vibes if you are from out of town. This food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. We ordered the breakfast burrito and the surfer Sarah. And of course drinks. Max and Reagan were friendly and amazing. I will be coming back tomorrow for the spicy chicken sandwich.
Dog friendly❤️????‍????????❤️
The waitress even asked if I would like a bowl of water for her❤️.
Everyone said their food was good except that the eggs could have been cooked better and the one piece of bacon in the Bloody Mary was too burnt.
Most of us tried foods we wouldn’t normally order so that was a good experience.
It’s safe to say you can order a variety of dishes and share. The serving sizes are that large.
The place was extremely busy and yet getting our food was drama free.
The staff was very kind and on their game. We never felt like we were forgotten about.
I had the breakfast tacos which for me was different. I guess if you eat breakfast burritos this is what it would taste like with a little bit of avacado.
The Apple french toast was like a light apple pie. The Apple wasn’t seasoned heavily. They were apples out of the can and warmed.
The report was that the grits were nice and creamy.
The lobster and shrimp crepes as I was told was “damn good”. Another one I wanted to order, but I can only eat so much.
Everyone was satisfied with their meals for the most part.
If you are in the area it would be a good place to stop by. It doesn’t get a little noisy as expected. You may have a little wait so be mindful this is not a quick in and out.
I kind of feel like it’s one of those places they advertise to come by or Diner’s Dive and Drive because it feels like most people are travelers not locals.
If I was in the area I would go back for the lobster and shrimp crepes. A change from the Bob Evan’s, IHOP, Denny’s but the menu’s are similar. As a crepe lover I had to ask about the sweet cream crepes and they only have the seafood one.
We tried their breakfast this morning and it was really good. We had a short wait and we're seated in a comfortable booth and chair table. The food was prepared to our liking and the kitchen wait time for our food was a very short turn around. We plan on trying them again for lunch one day soon. They were extremely busy but we moved through the wait list very quickly.
