The server seemed like we were inconveniencing her. We were three of maybe 8 people in the restaurant at the time. The burgers were DRENCHED in sauces and left a strange aftertaste. I've eaten at other A&W restaurants and they tasted great. I watched a few other customers experiences while we ate and the staff just seemed to be there to punch a time clock, no one smiled, no thank yous or friendliness of any kind.
I found it very ironic that their walls have scenes from 50s style diners promising "all American flavor". We didn't have that experience.
I only rate chain restaurants if it's a memorable visit. This was memorable for the wrong reasons. We'll be steering away from this A&W in the future. I understand the staff is under stress that I don't see, but don't pass that stress onto your customers.
Store hours posted on door as closing at 7:00 but lobby closes 30 minutes early and drive through is always closed which means I rarely am able get food there. Today got there at 5:50 and the workers were already closing. They made my food reluctantly and I got cold old chicken.
The place was clean. The food was fresh. Tasted good. They used to have a separate drink dispenser for the root beer. Now, it is part of the standard dispenser. The root beer had a little to much carbination. It never used to when it had its own. Did not taste like it was made in-house.
I would still go here.
Told my kids I grew up going to a&w. My mom used to take us there all the time to get root beer floats. They were skeptical but it's one of their favorite burger places now. However, we don't have one anywhere near us went there on the way to take my husband to the airport
Food was only okay. Got cheese curds and they aren't the same. The corn dog nuggets were cold. Also, holy smokes has the prices gone up... Over $7 for a large cheese curd ????
Stopped here as I was just passing through and I’m so happy I chose this restaurant instead of some other fast food options! Service was great and the food was ready fast - everything was hot and delicious! The root beer was even better than I could have hoped, I had an amazing experience!
This location is a joke. Might as well just be permanently closed. Today was the third time in the last 2 months that I’ve gone out of my way to stop there. And the third time I’ve been let down. The last 2 times the location was as just randomly closed in the middle of the day. Today the drive thru was closed. So I pulled around and went in, just to be told that their pos system is updating so they can’t take orders. Even though there were others in the lobby waiting for food already.
Arrived 45 mins before closing. Tried to go in to the restaurant only to find the dining room closed? Tried the drive thru and sat in line for 15min and gave up!
