A&W for the win with the root beer float!! Been a while since I had one of these. Just as good as I always remembered. Stop by and try one of these if you’ve never had one and if you have had one, then you know what it is like. This will be perfect for you. They make it just like it’s supposed to be. I will be back. I recommend this establishment for anyone that likes authentic A&W root beer floats.
Found this hidden gem on a trip up to the mountains. Stopped in and was immediately greeted with a smile and pleasantly surprised by the tasteful decor. The Spicy Poppa Burger though intimidating at first, delivered quite the flavorful punch. The main attraction, the root beer float, satisfied until the last sip. Great blend of local food and hospitality. Would be back again!
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! There was an issue with my order tonight. The young man at the window was apologetic and he went above and beyond in remedying the situation. Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name, but I hope management is able to recognize him for his great work!
I have been visiting this specific location with my family since I was little. On 7/18/24, I went through the drive through with someone in my car who uses cannabis to treat severe chronic illness (it was not being used while we were in the line). When we got to the window, a very nice young man started our transaction. From behind him, a very large female employee called out "SHUT THE WINDOW, THEY SMELL LIKE POT!" The young man, clearly embarrassed, finished our transaction and closed the window until our food was ready. Not only was her declaration completely unnecessary and unprofessional, it made us unnerved to know she was handling our food. I now see no reason to continue supporting this location, no matter how good the food is. There will always be another fast food joint that does not treat their severely ill patients with disrespect. Especially over something as personal as scent - when they themselves are no bouquet of posies.
I have loved A&W since I was a child. Since moving to the South, we don't have any restaurants close to where we live. The food was hot and tasty, and the staff, especially Rylie, was super friendly and knew the menu well! Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories to my taste buds on my visit. ❤️
A nice quick stop for some American style fast food and milkshakes. The place has a cool retro feel. The staff was friendly and prompt. The burgers, chicken sandwiches, and chicken strips we ordered were tasty, the fries weren't overly salted or greasy, and the milkshakes were thick and top notch.
Let me just start out by saying when the Matson’s owned this franchise it was 100X better.
The wait times shouldn’t be 45 minutes in the drive thru line. Each time I’ve come through the food is either luke warm or cold.
