They put the weirdest knuckle of bones and meat in our 4 piece meal. They tried to pass it off as one of the white meat pieces It turned our stomachs and made it hard to finish a meal. Good thing they have ice cream and delicious root beer otherwise I would say never again.
Food and service were mediocre. The staff seem perfectly fine with homeless people passed out at the table, eating food from other restaurants and walking around with knives in their hand. As a family with small kids, I felt very unsafe with my kids in the restaurant.
This place makes the absolute best milkshakes between all three towns, Never runny, perfect consistancy and you can actually name the flavor by tasting.
If curb appeal means much to you, however, leave this one off your list it needs a serious adjustment.
Order through drive through, backed up for good few moments so expect a wait. Food was alright, minus the fact they didn't have the side with my order(they did offer replacement at window) food was alright. Although the cars weren't moving I felt very rushed to place my order apon finally reaching the order menu.
We went through the drive thru. We got a large cheese curd and root beer floats. Overall, I find their food overpriced in comparison to similar places. We used to frequent this place, but only occasionally go here now because of that.
The cheese curds were so delicious, I only wish you got more since it was over $10, and the floats were on point!
We just had Root Beer Floats. Tasted wonderful! Service was fast and courteous. Staff was polite and helpful.
Food flavor was what I expected, which earns them the score provided. The photo tied to this review reflects online pricing of $31.56. Those are $6.26 french fries, same price for the mac& cheese. $10 box of popcorn chicken. $5 pie w/soda (no cookie included) biscuits were under $4 (no butter or honey provided). Online you're able to provide a time for the order to be ready, and this location was almost 20 minutes off the mark. To top it all off, the cashier had made comment that in store pricing was better then online. Said something about being closer to $25 had I ordered in the drive thru.
TL:DR - Avoid ordering online, double check the receipt for pricing accuracy.
Fantastic root beer floats! Great to work on while driving towards the lake up past sweet home or in your way home from the lake.
