I went in just for a root beer float and had to wait awhile as the worker was mopping the floor.. She wasn't mopping up a spill, she was just mopping the floor and saw me waiting at the counter, and said it would be a minute. Then she took my order, and I expected someone else to make my order, since she was mopping the floor and did not wash her hands. I was wrong- she made my order without washing her hands first.
Worst customer service ever. Waited in line with a coworker. Took forever for someone to come to the register to get my order. Got it wrong. Then my coworkers turned to order, and she asked him to wait so she could take the trash out. Which took another 10 minutes( as you could see her stopping to use her cell phone)
Management had to call her back over. I'm assuming understaffed/ overworked at this point.
Was kind of nervous about all the bad reviews but we didn't have many options at the time so we decided to risk it. While the drive through was closed the food was actually pretty good for an A&W. The burger was hot and fresh and the fries were actually hot and crispy (which is rare for any fast food joint these days). The root beer was great. Overall pretty good. Maybe we just caught a good crew? ????♂️
Good food. Service is slow, but the food is always hot and orders are correct. The drive through seems to always be closed.
This A&W location has a special menu of burgers not found anywhere else in east coast, their mushroom Swiss melt and the spicy papa is from another planet delicious.. their burgers was the only good thing within 500 miles
Love their root beer. Had a number one today it was really good. The lady who took my order was really helpful and the guy that made my food was courteous. Will deff stop by again if I’m ever in town.
From order to being handed food was over 20 minutes. There was little employee engagement, and what engagement there was they were quick to go back to their phones
Wish I could review the food. The 2 people at the counter never recognized me at all. They just kept talking with the guy at the register. I gave up and left. Good luck!
