We went there a couple times during our recent visit to the area and the employees were always super pleasant and attentive and our food was good. Restaurant was clean.
This clean A&W and long John Silver restaurant has a great location close to the national park. We had a great lunch here and got ready for the afternoon tour of the park. The self service station was clean and had various drinks and seasonings. The food tasted okey. Their fried seafood was fresh. The service was excellent.
Stopped here after Mammoth Cave. This was my first time eating at an A&W and it was pretty good! I got the Spicy Papa Burger and it was delicious, though I was a little disappointed with the small portion of fries. The service was lacking and the atmosphere was alright, but gets 5 stars for the root beer barrel dispenser! My partner got the Lobster Bites Platter from the Long John Silver's menu and really enjoyed it and the large portions.
This is a combo A&W + Long John Silvers so you can order off of both chains' menu. I tried one of LJS's new rice bowls with grilled shrimp and thought it was quite good. Then I topped it off with an A&W root beer float. Delightful!
This is a combined A&W with Long John Silver's. We split a chicken and fish platter. Tasty but a little greasy. The highlight of this location is the draft root beer on tap. We always stop when traveling through. The wait staff was okay but the youngsters were more into talking to each other than working.
Well it was a typical fast food option and split with a captain D's. I haven't been to one in a long time and it wasn't all that. The burger was decent as fast food goes. They had half the place closed so they could clean I'm guessing but it wasn't even 8 yet. Not a lot options in cave City just before 8 so it was a win I suppose!
As fast food goes, this is a good choice. We had the fish, served hot. The A&W rootbeer is a real treat. Clean store, ample parking, outdoor seating if you want.
Nice, clean restaurant with friendly service. It was pretty busy when we went but still didn’t have to wait too long. We love the on tap A&W root beer. You can order from the A&W or Long John Silvers menu. Dine in or drive thru are available. The Root Beer floats are really good!
