Best WLM Reviews
We had been frequenting this restaurant several
times over the last couple of weeks and the food had been pretty consistent; however that changed the last time we visited. We both got burgers that were very well undercooked. We tried to call the restaurant and they had their phones off the hook so we continued trying to call them the next day all day as well and all we kept getting was a busy signal.
Finally the two days later we were able to get ahold of the manager and she contacted her GM who contacted the owner who came to no resolution so they gave us his number to call. We did call the owner who admitted that they had phone troubles but that he could not help us seeing it was two days later even though we have timestamped pics of the food and our receipt.
Just make sure your food is cooked throughly because they will not offer any customer service to you!
We never heard of or had this before. Decided to give it a try. Definitely worth trying, even if you don’t like root beer. Although I will say the root beer was probably some of the best root beer I’ve ever had. We had the cheese bites, delicious. And the captain crunch milkshake was top notch. We will definitely be back again next year!
My first time at A&w and it was very tasty
We got papa burger with root beer and new watermelon strawberry freeze cream.
Everything were so tasty.
Place was busy at 12 pm and had a lot of costumers.
My wife and I come out to Sevierville for our anniversary every year and always make a stop here. The food has always been fresh, the guy taking our order has always been very helpful and has fantastic energy. 100% recommend this spot.
While preparing to leave the area we spotted the A&W sign. My family had not been to an A&W for years and decided to end our local stay with a visit.
We ordered through the drive thru and were greeted in a friendly manner. Our order was taken and finished with a thank you which is missing too often anymore.
When we reached the window the young lady again greeted us and correctly handed me our order. She smiled warming and thanked us again.
Our order was correct. The food was fine. The service, while only limited in total, was very welcoming.
I would stop again if ever in the area.
Enjoy!
I wish I could give 5 stars across the board, but there are supply chain issues, and we couldn't get two current promo items due to missing ingredients. Not the restaurant itselves fault, but still a down side to our visit. Staff was beyond friendly and the atmosphere was great. If we lived in the area, I swear we'd go once a week. Definitely recommend the root beer float. Heavenly.
I came in out of curiosity more than anything. I’ve never been inside of a A&W. I saw everyone drinking root beer out of ice cold mugs and had to have one of my own… you do get refills but I didn’t need one. They make a big deal out of the soda being, “Made Fresh Daily!” and it being made from “Pure Cane Sugar”. But it comes out of the same dispenser as every other soda they sell. They have large containers in the front on the counters where I believe they keep the syrup I guess they mix by hand which is the claim made on the A&W website.
However the drink was crisp, cold, and refreshing. It was a little over a couple bucks and a unique experience in that frosted mug. It was so cold that ice crystals formed at the top. The root beer was smooth and you could tell it was pure cane sugar as it doesn’t have the hfcs after taste of most products. It’s worth trying out. They also sell root beer floats and some kind of frozen cream root beer. I may go back for another mug before I leave town.
I did notice the menu prices seemed very reasonable for the area. I’m not sure why A&W didn’t take off in the states. They seem to have a good product… a little fine tuning and I could see this place doing even better.
It was great to see an A&W restaurant. We were heading home from Dollywood and caught it out of the corner of my eye. My wife got so excited, I had to make a u turn and head back .
Young man was very friendly. Can't beat a good frosty A&W root beer.
