Best WLM Reviews
Came across this place when I was on my way to Gatlinburg, TN. Now the only thing I had ever seen from A&W was the root beer but I knew for years they had actual restaurants it was just none were by me. So I had to take this opportunity right?.... RIGHT?!
This one in particular we visited I believe I was told was the first one ever built. Pretty cool. Service was good and quick as well.
Now for the food. I just got a burger and fries as you can see here. This was hands down probably the worst fast food burger I have ever had. This thing was tasteless and dry but had a weird aftertaste almost like a school lunch burger (if you know you know). I couldn't take anymore than 2 bites before I flat out just couldn't eat it anymore. 1/10
The fries were okay. Crispy with a slightly weird texture and I think that comes from whatever they are battered in. 5/10.
Hands down would absolutely never ever try this place again. Do I regret it? No. I am happy I can actually say I've had it but I just don't ever want to have it again lol.
Onion rings and shakes are always great! Pricey for their tier of quality in fast food in our opinion but the fried onions and shakes are always a winner! Wish they were a little faster and always seems like there is a long wait.
This nostalgic roadside drive-in serves up delicious burgers, floats, and milkshakes.
The mushroom burger and onion rings were delicious! The classic rootbeer float was a great treat as well.
Definitely drive on into this classic roadside restaurant to enjoy a taste of the 50s.
The food was fine. The service was excellent.
Nostalgic driver in a&w classic burgers and milkshakes don't forget the root beer float..... creamy ice-cream.
Good food, decent prices, all in the comfort of my tiny lil car and a (near) straight line drive from work. As a young person I ask, why did drive ins ever fade?
Loved trying the Handbreaded Chicken Tenders Combo with Diet A&W Root Beer, & Vanilla Ice Cream for my taste of my experience & it was all good & first time to come to this location during me & the others vacation & it's rare for me & the others to see the drive-in for A&W after all these years growing up & the others meals are all good included.
Stopped by for shakes and chicken fingers. The shakes were thick and good. The fingers were hot and very good.
