WOW! We drifted back in time to our childhood. Loved that they had the drive up booths. Loved they made the root beer floats the same. We didn't get food since we came here just for the float; But their service was good at the drive up tellers were great!
Love this place. It takes me back to when I was a kid. The food is good. I had the fish and chips dinner. Fried perfectly. I've had the taco salad and that is great also. Buddy had the burger and cheese fries. He said it were very good. You can still do the pull up and park to order and eat. Hope they never get rid of that.
Never expected to find a old school A&W in the middle of town. Full service location where you get to sit down either inside or out and be waited on. Food was great and the staff was quick in getting us exactly what we needed.
For 70 years this place has been the same. Get a root beer and an ice cold mug and you will never forget it. And probably the best bacon medicine tomatoes actually had in years!
It was my first time ever going here. The food was fantastic! Super cold Root beers. The drive thru menus were a nice added bonus. The kids and I very much enjoyed the atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend this place to eat any time of the day.
Food was fine, service was okay. Then partway through eating I start doing some mental math. Combos cost $6.50 extra, OR you can get the fries and drink, separate, for less. Corporate scamming all of us, one combo at a time. I recommend never ordering a combo, and tossing the extra savings towards your server’s tip.
Are server was Bryce P. He was working his butt off. He was amazing, he got the food and drinks out and was very nice and polite. Just stinks that the other employees weren't doing that great. The food was on point and cook great. The food was also a great price for the amount you get and fulling. The place was clean and so was the bathrooms. It's nice to see A&W when there isn't many left.
We were in Frankfort to see the lighthouse. We were hungry and drove up to a speaker outside. Hannah did a good job helping us out. I'm sure we were a little frustrating being crazy tourists. But she took care our order very calmly and respectfully. The food was really good as well. Thank you!
