It’s summer, want something different? A&W has an excellent menu and pretty fair prices. We each had a coney with cheese, bacon, onions and coney sauce. With fries and root beer, just less than $20 was a very fair price. Jose one thing, they are cash only.
I had ordered the paper burger and cheese curds. They both were really tasty and delicious. The shake was also great
Went for the first time moving to Bay City and had the worst experience.
Order was wrong as we were given an extra fry, which happens understandably. We told the waitress and she was very polite and said she needed to go talk to her manager. She came back and said she needed the extra fry back, which we didn’t want so we did understand. (But most fast food restaurants let you keep them because they aren’t allowed to serve them again which was questionable…?)
She took our money and extra fry, came back, wrong change no receipt, and we basically paid for the extra fry.
At this point it had been 30 minutes. We left because we just wanted to pickup, but there was only one girl working and needed to be more employees on a Thursday at 5:30!
The fry was definitely not full, root beer float had hardly any ice cream. Will not be returning.
Old style drive-in restaurant. The chicken tenders and onion rings are good quality, crispy and delicious! Root beer in a frosted mug!
Racist! Smh! Sadly, we are still in these times. Will never be returning. Was ignored the whole time in there, and didn't even get a chance to order food. Facial expression was like why are u here. Then skipped over me ????????
Stopped in today, STARVING, after a long drive and hours playing in the sun. I ordered a coney cheese dog and my bf ordered a double papa with no mayo or mustard, which they informed me it didn't come with either. Awesome. So we get our food and I've honestly never been more appalled. Apparently they make their coneys with bacon and marinara. The bacon would have been fine if thats what i ordered, but it's not...at all....thats not even remotely a coney. The waitress said "well thats how we make them"....ok great. It went in the dumpster. Then to top it off my bfs sandwich DID have mustard. So all in all I left STILL starving and with a much worse mood than when i arrived. Good job!
The coney dogs are amazing. You have the option to eat in your car or they have a small space inside to eat (6/8 seats). They do only accept cash. Also, they do close during the winter. I would definitely recommend eating here.
First time going here was in the area during 4th of July weekend NASTIEST A&W I ever been to in my life I DO NOT RECOMMEND food was very nasty but excellent customer service
