Took my 6 year old granddaughter for a pedi mani. I never asked for a gel. It appeared it was a regular one. They thinned her nails out so much. I asked. And not sure what the answer was. The nail bottle did not indicate gel
So her fingernails are so thin. She lost one. Two toe nails also
This was done back in August
Her toe nails are growing in oddly. But finally growing
When I went to pay it was a lot more. All I heard was gel. The curing machine. ? I asked and she says dries nails
They scammed me and shame on them
It took a while to put this review because of medical issues

Before I even sat I asked the price for basic gel manicure and showed my nails and told them it was dip. Any other salons just put acetone and the foil and let soak to come off but the women I had didn't know how to get it off. She struggled and then was going to paint over residual dip until I spoke up and then she transfer me to someone else. The other women filed it off and finished the gel manicure. When I go to pay they charged me and extra 10 to take of the previous polish. I've never been to a salon that they charge me extra to take off polish when getting dip or a gel manicure, they just remove it. I was told 30 before I even sat so that shouldn't have changed. The second tech did a good job but not happy about inconsistent price. Location downstairs by jcpenney.
Definitely Disappointed! did a mani on Wednesday before Thanksgiving for my vacation. My first nail falling off 4 days in on Sunday..then second nail falling off Wednesday just a week later....I've paid less elsewhere and had them well over two weeks with just needing a refill but nails still on..WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!
I LOVE this nail salon! ❤️ They have 3 locations but the one in the Holyoke mall next to Macy’s is my favorite. I refuse to go anywhere else despite my hatred for the mall and have convinced all of my friends to go here as well. The nail techs here are so kind, creative, and do a fantastic job. Love love love this place 100/10 would recommend to anyone in the area!
There are two of these nail places in the mall one upstairs in between DSW and Macy's I went to the one upstairs awhile back and they were terrible. The one downstairs near Jcpenny is much better. I have gotten my nails done twice here and the person I saw did a great job both times. I got the best pedicure I have gotten since I started getting my nails done again. I had 3 nails that needed to be fixed and it was no problem for them to take extra time to do so. I first came in here from another salon with an issue they fixed it for me which is great customer service. The only thing I do not like is the drill used on my nails to take polish off, but every salon is different. I thought a mall salon was not it. I was wrong my mani last 3 weeks and still looks good when I go back, that did not happen at my old place and I am not rough on my nails. I am now a repeat customer. The price is high for mani and pedi but worth it. I recommend going here but only the one downstairs. ????????
I had been getting my nails done downstairs by ZOE for almost three-years and she is excellent. I moved out of state. On my last visit it very hard to hold back tears because she was my go to person and I was very happy with her service : ). I would txt her for an appointment and when I arrived she held my spot. I connected because she's a Christian, loving mother, kind person and great nail artist tech too. I liked everyone there, Tony & Jeanie, owners, Danny my buddy who's always going home, Cory from Jamaica to Tony's cute little girl. Now I have the challenge of finding someone new. Zoe is going to be hard to replace : (.
I went upstairs and got a gel manicure, they were super nice and attentive but not even a day later my nails were peeling up. I love the color but my nails are crooked, not properly done, and I did not like the way they took my old polish off. They used a nail sander to file off my old gel but I think it weakened my nails. Although they have been on the cheaper side, I don’t think I will be returing.
