My friends and I had a great time with our chef. He was amazing at entertainment. He was great at his cooking skills. We had the best girls' night out together. The cocktail drinks were on point.
I've been here twice and the only thing I had worth buying was the Jasmine tea. I got the lo mein and there was no sauce on it. It was just sitting in broth or something. I poured so much off my plate and it was about 3/4 cup worth and the noodles had no flavor. The mushrooms were full of water. The chicken was ok but it was definitely batch boiled. Zero flavor, a friend had to give me some of the excess sauce off their chicken to make my food edible. I didn't bother returning it because the servers already seemed to be in a bad mood.
The sushi here is the best I’ve ever had. The fish was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the presentation was beautiful. Each roll was a delightful combination of flavors, making it hard to choose a favorite.
We celebrated our anniversary here, and it was perfect! The restaurant surprised us with a complimentary dessert, making the evening even more special. I highly recommend this place for any special occasion
Eaten here several times. My favorite Chinese/hibachi in Memphis. Hot and sour soup is the best I've ever had. Sesame chicken is always top notch. Hibachi is very well done every time. Sushi is best around. The store itself is cozy and comfortable and clean. Definitely recommend.
Locally & Family Owned and Homegrown, this restaurant is a Memphis gem that’s consistent and has amazing taste. One of the very unique things about the restaurant is that it’s a Chinese and Japanese cuisine all in one place! Try my favorite side serving up authentic Hibachi fresh on a cook table! I go very other and have always received 1st Class Customer Service by the entire team!
My husband and I love this place!! I ordered our usual chicken fried rice with extra egg. While waiting for my order, as always I was greeted with a big hug and smile from the owner who has an amazing personality!! The great food and customer service is why we’ve been regular customers for years…
We go here about once a week…Time of service was quick, they try real hard to get you seated as quickly as possible.. Food is always great. They truly care about their customers and bend over backwards to make your visit to ATan a pleasant one. I highly recommend this place. The owner will come visit you at your table and make you feel like friends rather than “just” a customer.
A-Tan is my favorite place to eat sushi and hibachi! Great vibes and great service every visit. They have a great selection of foods from Chinese to Japanese. You cannot go wrong with the Jimmy sushi roll. The mixed drinks are delicious as well! I recommend this place to everyone
