Best WLM Reviews

On a whim, we stopped for dinner here. It was an experience. The live music was very loud, which was the only downside, otherwise loved the live music and dancing. The food was excellent, we tried the empanadas, which we could probably eat for an entree as they were fantastic. We had the Mahi Mahi and the roast pork and they were delicious. The beans and rice were a bit in the dry side. The tostados were okay. Not a fan of plantains, but my wife loved them. It would be fun to learn the Spanish language to better understand the entertainment.
Me and my wife visited this place on a Saturday evening. The ambience was fantastic as there was live singing and the atmosphere was lively. Although the speakers were very loud, as we were seated near them. We were not able to have a conversation, with the loud music.
The empanadas were my favorite, melissa chicken was a bit dry..
Service was very slow, we had to wait for over half an hour to get our appetizers, and also the final bill. On paying i had asked for printed receipt, which the server completely forgot about. We had to wait almost 20 mins to get a servers attention and get our receipt.
This completely spoilt our mood.
Overall it was an average experience.
This restaurant I'd done so well! It feels like you are in Cuba (I wouldn't really know I've never been) but they did an incredible job on decour, the paintings, the pictures and overall vibe of the restaurant.
The food was good, I loved the Cubabna sandwich. The sandwich was like a Panini x Cuba. Unique flavor, meaty, not too cheesy and surprisingly crispy.
I couldn't wait for the potato balls. They weren't as good as the ones I had in Florida, but They were still really good. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, could have had a little more beef in the middle imo.
The mini club right next to the restaurant looks like a vibe! I cam by on Friday night to get food but peeked in and it looked like fun.
I can't wait to come back
We visited on a Friday night. Great atmosphere. Live music & dancing. I got the Shredded beef with white rice and black beans. Food was good however the beans were salty. Mango mojito was delicious.
I’m driving all the way from Gastonia first time trying to eat that food!
I ordered coffee waiters not asking me if I want a sugar or not she’s just put a sugar inside and that’s way too sweet. I’m not drinking coffee with sugar or milk. .
Order pasta with shrimp on the picture it was looking good. She’s bring me dry pasta no sauce. .
She’s not offering me dessert ask for extra shrimp and bread and I waiting another 20 minutes. She’s bringing me bread and forgot about my shrimp. It was lunchtime and it’s not busy and only two tables and mine was third so she’s not been busy.
First, I’m thinking of gonna come back with my husband. I saw the videos. I look very good atmosphere. I read other commentaries sounds good but I don’t have a first good experience. it was OK but I don’t wanna come back.
Went for a late lunch for my husband's birthday. Not yet crowded, great music playing.
The food and service were fantastic. When I told the waitress I had the bill, she went to hand it to my husband, to which I added it "only because it's his birthday". lol She then went and brought him a free dessert, and Happy B-Day was played on the house speakers. Great, fresh Mojitos and Flan
Had a $40 gift card that they would not honor. Waitress said she called the owner but they are using a different gift card processor now and could not accept my gift card. Will not be back. Slow service, dirty, and definitely never purchase a gift card from this place! Poorly run and managed.
Update: their reply that they don’t sell gift cards is false. See pictures of gift card with their name, address and phone number. Will turn this over to FTC.
This was a nice place. Clean and friendly staff. Had the sangria carafe and it was tasty. Not a pork eater and the menu is heavy on it, but the beef options are few. Food was flavorful.
