Hometown Diner clean well staffed large menu selection portion sizes are very good and wait staff is very friendly
This Diner recently reopened after having work done. the place is very nice, very clean, well staffed. It's a central neighborhood Diner off the major roadways. the food is excellent with nice size servings and plenty the daily specials. there is a nice size parking lot with a few handicap parking spots. handicap accessible from the parking lot to a ramp up to the front door. bathrooms are large enough to accommodate a wheelchair. the waitress staff as busy as they are manage to handle things in a very respectful and promptness way. Menu is full of goodies moderately priced, credit cards accepted, and children's menu as well as high chairs are always available.
Lisa is the best server you can have. She’s so sweet, checks on you often and makes sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. She’s down to earth, and simply just makes your meal feel at home. I will request her every time. Thanks Lisa for great service.
Food was moderate, average diner food. The issue is sanitation. Not only are the booths generally dirty, there have been bedbugs confirmed both at the bar and in the booth seating within the past week. The staff are nasty and rude about it, and apparently they think wiping the seat with a rag and spray is enough to "fix" the issue and continue serving people. Who knows how many people's homes have been infested. The place needs to be closed, emptied, and bombed by an exterminator. Or better yet just closed if this is how they treat their customers' wellbeing.
If I could give a negative star I would. They clearly made an order wrong. They gave me ham instead of pork roll in a omelette. They tried to gaslight me and tell me I didn’t know the difference. Instead of making it right. Then was talking about it where we could clearly see and hear them.
Do not go here!!!

Went there this past week and my friend sat in a ripped up chair infested with bed bugs. Not only did she get bit multiple times but she had a huge welt the size of your palm… The only reason I am leaving them a bad review is because they basically told us to go pound sand once it was brought to there attention. Then wiped the chair down with a wet rag and continued to serve and seat customers. PHOTOS FOR PROOF!! You take it as you see it.
With that being said the waitress was very taken back once we told her and the only one in that place that was apologetic. She was very nice and tried to be as helpful as she could with the situation.

After reading some really bad reviews ive decided to give one of my own in support of my favorite local diner.
Ive been coming here for years and have NEVER seen a bug! The servers are always pleasant and the food is always on point. I live 20 minutes away and bypass a lot of other diners to come to this one.
Personally i think the person leaving the horrible review has a personal grudge with someone there and is out to sabbotage them (also getting others to post the same complaint within days of eachother).

Bedbugs along with mediocre food? Then definitely eat here. Feed and get fed on seems to be their motto. Reported and won’t be returning. Make sure you strip your clothes off in the foyer and place in plastic bag. If you drove, make sure you fumigate the car!!
