Really good authentic Jamaican food. Be careful with the spice level when ordering there spices are strong. Also if you want plantains you have to specify versus the cabbage. Both are good though.
$52 worth of old Oxtails, very disappointed! Me & my mom use to come all the time and yesterday was not it! Also we didn’t get any cabbage. As a business owner you should try to fix the issue not act like “you” know the food is good when the oxtail is either over cooked or old. The rice was okay but the oxtail gravy was VERY oily ( as you can see in my picture)! A&M ISLAND cafe needs to humble there selfs and not serve the people this type of food for the money they paying, then have the owner respond to the people with in denial !!!!! Own to your food. I tried calling last nights but they had close already. Will be getting in contact with the manager. Upset

The jerk chicken pasta was terrible. It was spicy and sweet. Way too spicy with no flavor and the taste didn’t pair at all wouldn't recommend.
Wasted money. Oxtails were like rubber. Had flavor, but hard to eat off the bone. Not tender at all. Didn't eat, trashed it.
I love it here it’s my favorite place to eat , the best in Fayetteville. Thank you all , very friendly and their service is amazing, I got festival today and soup and yesterday I got oxtail and curry chicken and tomorrow it will be porridge, I highly recommend them ????
The oxtails were sooooo tender and delicious and the cabbage was well seasoned also. The only problem was the plantains seemed overcooked but I will say that with the cabbage it did taste great. The only disappointment I had was I ordered a side of yams and didn’t get them but overall the plate was definitely good.
The thinnest pieces of oxtail I ever seen in my life. I get prices are high and it get tough to keep up but dang. It was good though
