I have eaten here before and it was okay at best. I wanted to try again because I love supporting my community. I had the small catfish dinner. Fish was fried in old grease, green beans was straight out the can but hush puppies were good.
I feel you are giving a disservice to your customers when you just throw sides to a meal. Straight out the can, no onions, no seasonings, just heated! That’s no cool when fast food places like KFC and captain D’s can season better.
Amazing catfish!! We stopped just to try the catfish and it didn't disappoint. I don't usually like hush puppies but these were outstanding!

I had almost given up on ordering food out because lately the food has been horrible. For restaurants to think that consumers can't tell if food has been fried in grease, used over and over again is beyond me. But when I tell you this meal was ????. The order was correct. The service was awesome. All I can say is keep doing what you're doing . Please don't lack your service or food, and you will have a regular customer with me
I’m sitting on the parking lot right now eating my food & let me tell you! It’s so good. I wish I could give them 20 stars. The staff was polite, the place was clean. I requested my fish to be fried hard & it’s just right. The candy yams are so delicious. I will be back to try more items on the menu. I can’t believe that I didn’t know about this place sooner. Best catfish! Hands down.
Food was off the chain if it had not been for my daughter. Tell me about this place and how good the food was. I wouldn't have known anything about it or it location. Y'all have got to try this place. My family and I are always looking for different places to try. This place here is a keeper we will be coming back without a doubt
What a wonderful surprise it was to find this place after discovering that our first choice was closed. Delicious, fresh, perfectly fried catfish; wonderful hush puppies with great flavor and the surprise of lightly battered tasty okra. Add a friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere and you have a 4 1/2 star place!
I placed our order at 1:30 PM to be picked up at 4:30 pm but it wasn’t ready. It’s a sign that says pick up order but I was referred to a line of customers who were just placing their orders and it was at least 8min wait. So the sign was misleading/misconstrued.Anyway I waited until 5:10Pm and our order was ready. After checking to reassure our order was correct and it was. I asked one of the servers ( Caucasian elderly ponytail wearing lady) for some ketchup and she was very rude and never attempted to even retrieve what I asked for; if I didn’t exist. And other customers witnessed this and said something as well. Umm placed my complaint and on that note lost my patronizing of this black owned business. First, I had to stand in a long line and then to be told my order wasn’t ready and then patiently waiting and to top it off to have a sever to be rude . Nah the fish is good but not worth me being disrespected as a customer. Also you would see the lady I am referring to in the second photo.
My first visit and I was absolutely pleased. The food was good and hot ????, the way I like it. Friendly waitress. Keep up the good work. I wish there was a location on Austin Peay Hwy. Loved the fried green tomatoes.
