I've been coming here since I moved to WI, food still good and staff still awesome, quantity is going down so the presentation and is looking darker than usual. The place needs a beat of love. Anyway, I ordered the blackened Lake perch and portions (3) very small and tons of bones, so be careful. The onion rings were really good. My baby had the bone in chicken wings also good. My husband had the fighting Irishman burger medium rare. It was cooked perfectly and was the perfect amount of spice. With 4 bears (hacker pschorr) the bill was 85 dollars
I visit here once a week on Thursday with my family because there is a burger special! The burgers are delicious, and you can order a chicken or a beef burger. I love the chicken here because it is always so moist! The service is exceptional, and our favorite waitress, Meghan, is always so happy and cheerful! This is an Irish pub decorated with many Irish items, and the ambience is very pleasant. The pub is located across from the Menomonee Falls waterfall, and I like to sit by the window to enjoy the view of Main Street. I highly recommend a visit to the AJ O'Brady pub!
Cute place with a waterfall across the street which made a neat atmosphere but unfortunately tonight the service wasn't there and the food was just okay. Our server walked past our table multiple times while we sat with empty drinks. Took long a time for our drinks and food to be served to us. We ordered appetizers. Our cheese curds weren't cooked. We asked if we could get a new order. When the server brought us our new order she told us we needed to separate them and not let them sit so they didn't melt together like the first order. Trust me we waited long enough for our food the first time around. We were excited to eat them but they were presented already melted like that by a young gentleman who seemed to be the only one cooking in the back due to the long wait????. We like to try new places but unfortunately I wouldn't go back due to the way were treated. My fish tacos were sloppy and poorly made. The servers seemed more worried about sitting around talking then being attentive to tables.
We have been here several times, love sitting in the front room towards the street, brighter light with windows facing the falls. The music is also quieter, away from the bar, but depends on the day how loud and how much music is being played. Sometimes they will be blasting radio and jut box at the same time. Walking in, most of the time there’s someone at the booth, to tell you to seat yourself and they will be right with you. The servers are sometimes very busy, and it’s mostly younger adults. It’s been a bit frustrating a few times when food items get forgotten or not put in correctly, or we have been given a completely different order during busier hrs with new staff. Most of the time they are very attentive and super nice.
They have amazing fish fry with good portions. Their spinach bread bowl dip with chips was so filling and tasty but I don’t see it on their menu rn so it might have been a limited thing. Best burgers! They season the beef, and have always been cooked perfectly. Usually get the Jameson burger, it’s a bit messy but so worth it. The only burger I disliked was the bbq one, drowned my burger with a cup of bbq sauce, it was so messy and kinda inedible under all the sauce. So much bbq! It was good leftovers tho once the sauce was scraped away. The waffle fries are definitely superior, not as salty and it has the same tasty seasoning as the reg fries. Their seasonal drinks are always on point and wi strength, along with the beers on tap. Def love this place for its food and drinks! They also have outdoor seating for warmer days.
Friendly neighborhood pub. Stopped in for brunch and unlimited mimosas. Service was quick, drinks were delicious and the food was good. Nothing really stood out as spectacular but nothing was wrong either.
Our first visit today for lunch and so glad we did. Your bartender was so friendly and helpful. We both had a Reuben. It was excellent. 5 stars! Loved the waffle fries. We will be back.
Over all great experience. Friendly server. We ordered perch and pan seared white fish. Good seasoning but a little greasy. Good potato pancakes. My dad enjoyed the clam chowder, more of broth not really thick, FYI. Like the side options. Honey butter with rolls, yum.
It's a solid bar but the only thing Irish about it is the paint job. The few "Irish" options they have are a bit nauseating. The American options are above average. This place could really use a menu update and a new floor that isn't so sticky. Families go here, but I didn't feel super comfortable with my boy here since you have to walk through the bar to be seated. Service crew is very nice but not terribly well trained.
