I recently visited AJ Nails for a manicure and was extremely disappointed with the experience. I requested a star design, but what I received looked like it was poorly drawn on with a Sharpie. Additionally, my nails were still rough and not filed correctly, with sharp edges that were uncomfortable. Considering the $71 price tag, I expected a much higher quality of service. Pictures enclosed. As a frequent visitor, I will be trying out someplace else next time.
My nail artist was Bim. I got him once and he showed me all the nails he has done and I was very impressed. I showed him pictures of nails I have wanted in the past but no nail salon was able to do them. Went in on Tuesday and I was in love with them when I left. Definitely asking for him every time. Thank you Johnny for running a freak business!!!
Johnny and Teresa have a very clean salon. They always take care of me. Bea is my nail tech. She always does a wonderful job! Best place! I drive 40 minutes because they are the best!
poor service, everyone it’s always in a hurry and they don’t focus on doing a good job, they just want to the customer in and out. they are just trying to make their money. i asked for almond shape and i got some bubble looking nail, the side of my nails look horrible. also the guy who did my nail cut me with the nail filler. never again going there.
It is my daughter and I's first time there and very happy we stopped in. The place is beautiful and the prices are reasonable. My nail lady was very sweet ,gentle, very relaxing arm massage and my nails looked so pretty. My daughter got Acrylics and said she is very happy and would definitely go back. Place is clean and gentle and again I felt the prices were reasonable and no hidden upcharges or anything. Thank you! ( update. I had to go back and take off a star..it's only been day 2 and my pointer nail has completely chipped off like a good chunk and my other 2 nails are starting to crack. I feel bc the paint was on thicker than normal. I've never had polish chunk off like that so soon even when I do it myself so sadly I duno if I'll be back for that piece. However mu daughter is still happy and I will say our experience there at the time was divine and super nice and relaxing..so I duno..stinks bc the lady did such a pretty job but now it's all coming off in chunks)
I have been a long and loyal customer for many years. The last two visits were not a pleasurable experience. In making a new reservation this week, we were treated very poorly. Fortunately nail spas are everywhere, unfortunately for AJ’s, they have lost my business, along with all of the referrals I have given over the years. I understand we all have bad days, but disappointed on the conduct that was displayed.
Really unhappy with the service. I got a pedicure and I felt like the girl was rushing the whole time. My toe nails are not shaped evenly and the entire service was not worth $31. I’ve gotten better pedicures for cheaper where they actually do a good job with the foot massage and include a foot scrub.
Have loved my nails every time. Bim is exceptional! Best place I’ve been too.
