Amazing experience. We got the trust fall. The waitress chooses an appetizer, bottle of wine, two pizzas, and gelato. All for $75. The value of all this was $90. The pizzas were delicious. The olives and sourdough were the best ever. We also loved the ambiance. It was cozy and packed in which made it fun. Loved it, will go back, love the trust fall.
Visited after Fantasy of Trees tonight. The pizza did taste fresh, you could tell the ingredients were of quality, however, the crust was quite dark on two out of three of our pizzas - when I say dark, I really mean black and burnt spotted throughout.
We ordered a margarita pizza with extra mozzarella to cover it, kids cheese pizza, and a pepperoni and sausage pizza. The pizzas were good, just the wood fired crust with all the blackened parts I didn’t love. If it was just toasted and not charred I would definitely have given them 5 stars.
The gelato on the other hand was amazing. We got chocolate, peanut butter, and chocolate chip.
It was looked delicious and was decently priced. I'd try it again if I could get on the wait list, otherwise I the wait is too long.
The tables are communal style and you have other groups sitting with you.
We were able to make reservations and have a nice dinner with family last night. We started with Ovoline which is House pulled Mozzarella + basil & pistachio pistou + warm SOURDOUGH bread. It was a great choice as an appetizer. We tried two of their pizzas and they were great. They were quiet busy but we were able to take our time and get in and out in a timely manner. You should make reservations in advance because you might not get a seating. We were seated in an area off the main dining area and I have to admit it was a little chilly.
Loved A Dopo even more than expected. The pizza is super close to Naples quality, the vibe is great, the service excellent. Love the little touches like having house wine on tap, celebrating other local places in Knoxville. Oh- and the peanut butter gelato is bonkers good.
A Dopo (see you later in Italian) sourdough pizza did not disappoint! It was highly recommended by several locals, some going so far as to say, “It’s the best pizza place in Knoxville!”. I can attest it was one of the best pizzas we have ever had. We did the trustfall experience where the server picks a bottle of wine, appetizer, two different pizzas, and the gelato for you. We loved each dish that was served to us. It was nice to get out of our comfort zones and try new experiences. We both left with smiles on our faces and full bellies ????
All the pizza and appetizers were absolutely amazing and delicious however our waitress Chloe was terrible she never came to ask how the food was or if we needed refills or anything she just stood back behind the counter leaning and talking the enitre time. She came to our table twice within an hour. While the waiter serving the table next to us with dark hair took care of our drinks and got us what else we needed.. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for bad service.
Just one of the best wood fire oven pizza places I’ve been to. Consistently is good and consistently worth a visit when I’m in Knoxville.
All pizzas are good. Even the marinara when avoiding cheese has good flavor in the sauce, garlic slices, and dough. The spicy greens pizza is a favorite, as well as a honey, pepperoni, with rose sauce they had as a special.
Adding the gelato to a meal makes it a full circle experience. I believe they always rotate their flavors. The chocolate and the cherry were favorites of ours.
Divine!
The pizza is awesome!! I love the crispy crust and how flavorful the pizza is!! Have to pair it with a Mexican Coke! They say it doesn’t taste the same togo but It will still smacking late at night!! Definitely recommend!!
